The new day Lexy woke up nice and early. She spent about an hour just admiring herself in the mirror doing different poses before putting on her clothes. Whether she could mufu mufu or not didn't matter, she was satisfied with just looking. She got dressed and headed downstairs where the innkeeper, an older man with a hunched back, stopped her. "Missy, you didn't eat any dinner last night, so make sure you eat before you go. It is included in the inn fee."

Lexy's eyes lit up. She had not eaten anything at all since she arrived, so she was wondering how the food in game tasted. She could smell the different smells in the air, feel things, and she knew she could taste dirt, so it would be a treat to actually taste some food. "Thanks, I would love some food."

"Good! Good! My wife worked hard on this morning's breakfast, so eat up." The old man seemed satisfied and told Lexy to pick any table. She went over and took a seat, and waited patiently. Her wait was not long, and when she saw the amount of food piled in front of her, she couldn't help but be amazed. An omelet the size of her head, a stack of bacon, toast, jam, salad, and a big glass of some kind of fruit juice.  A big smile formed on Lexy's lips as she said: "Thank you."

"No problem, honey, I gave you a bit of extra. After I saw you being beaten by Old Bertha at the apothecary, I knew you needed some more meat on your bones. So eat up and build up your strength." The old woman with arms as thick as Lexy's thighs said with a hardy laugh before she turned and walked away.

Lexy's face was bright red. It seemed the whole town knew about her incident. But it also seemed the townsfolk were now treating her differently, which made her happy. One would not think a shut in like Lexy would be happy to be liked by a crowd. It was just that now that she was in a game, she did not mind being around people. In fact, she preferred it because games like this were not easy alone.

Lexy took a bite of the omelet first, and when she tasted the fluffy eggs on her tongue, her lips curled up as she hummed in happiness. It tasted nothing like the eggs of the real world. It had a unique flavor to them, but it tasted much better than anything egg she had ever tasted before. The same went for the rest of the food. Everything tasted out of this world. Before she knew it, she had cleared her whole plate. She sat back, patting her protruding belly, all while letting out a satisfied burp. It was truly delicious. So delicious that because of how she was eating and how much her face showed how much she was enjoying her meal, all the others who were in the inn for breakfast ordered the same thing.

Lexy got up and gathered her plates, and brought them over to the counter where the old woman and her husband were talking. "Thank you very much for the food. It was absolutely delicious."

"I am glad you like it, honey. To be honest, because of you, we made a killing today, and because of that me and my husband decided to make you an offer." The old woman's cheeks were rosy as she smiled at Lexy as if she was a rare gem.

"Oh? What kind of deal?" Lexy was curious. She wondered if this was some kind of quest.

"For the time you are staying in Grove Town. You stay at our inn and only eat here. If you agree you will get free room and board. And we will even give you our best room which comes with a bath." The old woman offered. Sadly it was not a quest but a simple request.

Lexy was surprised to get such an offer. All she did was eat her meal, but now she was getting free room and board. Since she did not know how long she would be in town, this was an amazing deal! "Sure!"

"Great! I will show you to your room and give you the key. It will be yours until you leave town." The old woman let out a hardy laugh and clapped her hands as she whisked Lexy up to the third floor of the inn.

Lexy saw that there was actually only one door at the top of the stairs and when the old woman opened the door her mouth almost dropped to the floor. The room was the entire floor! It had a large comfortable looking bed and a huge bath! There was even a fireplace with some comfy looking chairs with a table sitting in front of it. "What do you think? This is our most expensive room, which costs one gold a night. Normally it is always empty, but as long as you are eating at our place, I think we can cover the cost easily."

"Are you sure? I mean… I could leave even tomorrow or even today if something comes up..." Lexy felt that maybe the room was a little much if she was suddenly occupying it. She did not wish for the nice old lady to lose money. She had no idea that her actions this morning already made the old woman fifty silver with people asking for seconds. Although the taste had not changed, the fact that Lexy looked as if she was loving the dish so much made it taste better to everyone else.

"Of course, dear! Just be sure to be back for dinner. I will even send you off with a sandwich for lunch." The old woman patted Lexy on the back, almost causing her to die. Each pat took five health!

"Then I will gratefully accept!" Lexy had no reason to decline such a fine room.  And with that, Lexy's second day in New World Online started off on a good note.  After talking with the old woman a little longer she drank a potion and decided to go out and sell her goods. This time she planned to set up shop right in front of the old hag's shop! She planned to steal every customer the old hag had!
