“That sounds like fun! But…. I will need to learn some new attacks. I really only have two whip skills at the moment. Big Sister, how did you come up with all your skills?” Lexy asked. She only knew her strange skills came when she said something dumb in the moment.

“Mine? Mine were created through blood, sweat, and tears. I spent many, many hours trying to create new skills. Some of which were difficult to even figure out how to even create at first. But after watching and reading many references from anime and manga, I finally had the image in my mind allowing me to truly create some unique skills. But it really was not easy.” Olivia had spent hour upon hours creating her skills as she leveled up; it was not an easy task at all. Her time and devotion to such things went beyond what a normal player would actually spend on a game.

“Then I will just need to work hard, nya!” Lexy pumped her fist. She wanted to have some cool attacks as well. 

“I will also need to work hard as well.” Megalim saw Lexy getting fired up, which made her get fired up. She also wanted to create some new skills.

“Seeing you two get excited makes me wish I had more time in game…” Staple sighed. She always had to work late due to all her coworkers dumping their work on her.

“It’s fine, Staple. Your defense is our biggest weapon in the upcoming event…. But… We will need to get you some levels. So whether you like it or not, I will be taking you out for power leveling the next few days. ” Olivia knew that Staple hated power leveling, but she did fall behind Lexy and Meglim this time around, and with the new event coming up, Staple would need some levels to catch up.

Staple sighed and nodded her head. She also knew she needed some levels in order to be of any help in the oncoming event. “Then I will be in your care, Miss guild leader.” 

“Hehe! Don’t worry. I will make sure you catch up in no time!” Oliva said with a smile. “Alright! I will take Staple and begin helping her gain some levels. You girls work on your new skills. There is a large meadow about a day's walk from here that has monsters level 25 to 30. They should work for training and… If you head east, there should be a small cave. As long as there are no monsters inside, you can use it as a base of operations. I used it myself when I was trying to create my skills.” 

“Then we will head there. Thanks, Big Sister!” Lexy grabbed Megalim’s hand and waved goodbye before running off. She wanted to quickly begin trying to create new skills.

Olivia and Staple watched the two's retreating backs with a bit of envy. For Olivia, it was the fact that Megalim was always with her cute little sister, and for Staple, it was the envy of the two's relationship. They both let out sighs at the same time, which made them both turn and look at each other. After staring at each other for a few seconds, they both began laughing. “We should head out.” Olivia said with a smile while grabbing Staple’s hand and pulling her forward.

“Mmm…”  Staple blushed as she trotted along with Olivia. 

“Nya~ Nya~ Nyaaaa~” Lexy was once again singing a strange song as she walked through the forest, making her way towards the meadow that Olivia told her about. Megalim was next to her, smiling away as she held Lexy’s hand. 

“Lexy, I have been thinking. Since we are now both part of the game, does this mean we can not die? Are we immortal?” Megalim asked.

“Nya? Now that you mention it. It should be like that, I guess.” Lexy hadn’t thought of it like that. She had died many times in game, and each time she was able to revive. She did not know if she could ever actually die. But now, she did not care. She had the girl she loved by her side, and that was enough for her to be happy for all eternity no matter what they had to go through.

“You two can basically be called immortals. You are different from the other life forms created by the people who made this game and myself. As your level progresses, you will find once you reach the highest point, it is not the end.” Nana chimed in. 

“It’s not the end?” Megalim asked.

“I will not elaborate for now, but you will see once your level reaches that hieght.” Nana knew now was not the time for them to know anything about the peak level of the game just yet. As she was the Arcana Records, she knew a lot about the world of this game, but she wished for her Master, Lexy, to see the world for what it is without any of it being spoiled. If she knew everything now, she would not have as much fun later on when she discovers new things.

“Oh…” Megalim was a little sad about this but kinda understood. They were both still way off from the max level, so there was no need for them to know about the higher level things just yet.

“We just need to work hard!” Lexy was even more pumped now. She couldn’t wait until she grew in level and could see what the game had to offer once she reached maxed level.

As it was already late in the day, the two girls found a place to camp out. Lexy set up the tent while Megalim got a fire going. The two worked together to get everything set up. They sat on a log that Lexy dragged over, side by side. Megalim had her head resting on Lexy’s shoulder as the two stared up at the starry sky. “This world is so much more amazing than Earth. Seeing the moons and the amazing starry sky is just amazing.” 

“Nya... Although I do not remember much of Earth, I know this sky is ten times more beautiful. And now we get to share it together forever.” Lexy said as she entwined her fingers with Megalims.

“Mmm… the two of us will always be together forever.” With a smile on her face, Megalim turned her head and pecked Lexy on the lips, a slight blush on her cheeks as she did.
