“Twister!” A red cheeked Lexy yelled out as she struck out with her whip in a spiral, hoping to create some kind of amazing skill, but all she got was rosy cheeks from embarrassment as she yelled out the name. “Nya! Still nothing!” Lexy yelled out, feeling aggrieved. She had been at it for hours now without any success. 

But Megalim, on the other hand… “Ku! Ku ku! Tornado!” Gales of wind swirled in the air as a pillar of wind spinning in a circle spun around, sucking up everything in its path. Seeing such a sight made Lexy pout even more.

She turned and kicked a rock as she mumbled: “I’m not jealous… No… I just want a simple attack while Limlim makes apocalyptic skills.” 

“Haha!” Nana began laughing, causing the bell on Lexy’s neck to jingle. “Lexy, it is much easier for someone who uses magic to learn skills. If you were a mage, you could learn them easily too, as it only takes a good mental image to create them while yours requires much more. You have to remember although you can use magic, it is not in the scope of an actual mage. You are a whip user and will always be one. This means you will need to come up with more whip like skills, and you will need to do them over and over again until it finally turns into a skill. Mental imaging will not help much. Your guild leader is a spell blade, so she can cast magic as well, which allows her to learn more skills quicker, but they all have to be blade related, but… When it comes to basic melee attacks, she is probably lacking.”

“So it’s because my class is a pure melee class that I will have a harder time creating skills? Then why the hell did I get double spank and triple nya attack!? I said some random crap in the spur of the moment and got strange skills! Like next time I will say S&M Bind, and it will turn into a skill for restraining people!”

“This…” Lexy looked at the window that popped up and wanted to cry. In fact, she did start to cry. Her lower lip began to quiver as tears began to build up in her eyes. She didn’t want some strange bondage skill! “Nyaaaaa!”

“Ahahaha!” Nana couldn’t hold back; it was too funny for her. Lexy did not even have to do anything but say a strange name, and it became a skill!

“Nya! Nyaaa!” Slumping to the ground, Lexy began crying.  Slowly Nana started to feel bad for laughing. “Lexy, look, it could be worse…”

“How!? I look like some kind of S&M freak!” Cried Lexy.

“Ahh… Umm… well… ” Nana did not know what to say. It was true all of Lexy’s skills made her look like someone who would wear leather and hang their lover up in the air and whip them.

“Lexy!? Why are you crying!?” Megalim ran over as soon as she heard Lexy crying.

“Sniff! Limlim! Nyaaa! Nana is bullying me!” Lexy cried out, making it seem like Nana had really picked on her.

“What!? I never did anything!” Nana yelled out, trying to defend herself.

“You laughed at me! Sniff.. Sniff..” Lexy rubbed her nose, her eyes still red. She nuzzled into Megalim’s chest and flicked the bell on her neck. 

Megalim really did not know what to say. She gently patted Lexy on the back as she said: “Nana, apologize!”

“Ah! Fine! Lexy, I’m sorry for laughing! Please don’t cry anymore…” Nana did feel bad. She didn’t think Lexy would break down crying. Nana now realized that it seemed Lexy's skills were a sore spot for her. But it could be understood as Lexy was definitely not liking the fact that she was stuck with all these strange whip skills. 

“Sniff… Really?” Lexy asked softly. 

“Yes… I am sorry. We will try to get you some cooler sounding skills for now just don’t say any weird names.” Nana had no idea how she was going to get Lexy cooler sounding skills, but to keep her happy, she would try to think of something.

“Mmm! This is much better. I am glad you two made up.”  Megalim smiled as she gave Lexy a kiss on the forehead and wiped her tears. She didn’t seem to mind Lexy using her cape as a tissue. 

With things cleared up, Megalim, Nana, and Lexy sat down together and began trying to come up with skill ideas for whips. It was just that… Whips were not that easy to come up with skills for. For one, they only had a few kinds of attacks, to begin with, but as they sat and discussed different ideas, something came to mind for Megalim. “Like your whip is not a normal whip, right?”

“Mmm… It’s a chain whip that will retract back into the form of a sword.” Lexy replied.

“We can use that! As it is a whip but still can be used as a sword. So what if we try to add in some basic sword skills as well? Each of the detachable blades are sharp, right?” Megalim asked.

“Yes. When I want to use it as a whip, I have to press a button on the hilt to detach the blades making it a whi… Wait! How am I so stupid!? This weapon has so much more potential than I thought! How could I not have seen it before!?” Lexy felt like smacking herself in the face. The fact that it was a sword whip and not a regular whip should have clicked with her. She had just been swinging it around in whip form when it could be used in multiple ways, including a sword! “I am so dumb! I think this combination will work out well. Especially if I use it in certain ways, that will make whoever I'm attacking surprised. If I swung it out but was blocked, I could detach it and allow the blades to swing out and attack at that time or even disarm my opponent! Hehe, I think I have many ideas now…”
