“A demonic seed?” Yuki had no idea what a demonic seed was.

“It is a kind of living being that is part of the one who creates it. When the creator implants it into another person, it will attach itself to the person’s heart. If forcefully removed it will destroy the heart it is attached to and the host in which it resides. The is only one way of getting rid of it, and that is for the host to kill the person that had implanted it. If someone else kills the creator, then there is a chance that the host will die as well. This is not one hundred percent, but for some reason, the demonic seed knows if the host killed its creator or not.” Elder Nishikawa explained. It was not good news but also not bad news either. There was still a way to get rid of it, but it would take some time.

“So I just need to kill him. But he seemed extremely powerful. I could not even tell what rank he was….” Yuki frowned. She had no idea how strong she needed to be to actually kill that man.

“Only those at the peak of the universal core realm can create a demonic seed. There is only a hand full of people in this world who are at that level. And even fewer beyond that. Even the sect master is at the peak of the astral star realm.

“As you all know, the fate star realm has twelve stars you must reach. Each star has nine levels. The astral Star realm is different. There are 3 levels and twelve stars, and each star is hard to break through to. And each level is just as hard. What’s more, even the early stage of even a first astral star will see a huge difference in power when breaking through to the intermediate stage, and the same goes for late stage. The power jump to the next stage is even greater than that. Your strength will rise quickly, but it will take everything you got just to break through a minor realm.” Elder Nishikawa paused as she flipped her hand and created a ball of spiritual qi.

The spiritual qi spun around in her hand and gave off a huge amount of pressure that both Nana and Yuki could easily feel. “The denseness of your spiritual qi will also rise which grants you even more power.”

“Master, if that is the case, then was it that a peak fate star can easily kill a rank five demonic beast? If a demonic beast is easily killed at rank five and, from what I know, go  up to rank twelve, then wouldn’t all the demonic beasts have been long wiped out?” Nana was confused as to why there were still so many demonic beasts if a peak astral star cultivator could probably easily kill a rank twelve demonic beast.

    “That is because demonic beasts from rank one to five are considered to be in the fate star realm. From rank six to seven astral star realm and eight to ten universal core realm. Eleven and twelve would be the heavenly sea realm, but once they reach this rank, they will become human, and their strength will reset back to a late stage universal core. Just like how there are power jumps for humans, demonic beasts also see huge power jump in their ranks.” Hearing Elder Nishikawa’s words made Yuki’s eyes flash. She felt that Elder Nishikawa was not a demi human to begin with. Elder Nishikawa noticed Yuki’s gave but only gave a smile. She did not say anything or even confirm Yuki’s suspicious stare.

“Anway, now that I have explained that it is. I do have one solution that will make it hard for the man who did this to actually track you down. I can surround your heart in phoenix fire, and it will cut off and even confuse the connection making it seem like you are in one place when you are in another. This way, you will have time to grow.” Elder Nishikawa could only use her clan’s ability to use illusionary techniques to confuse the connection. It was only a temporary solution, but it would give Yuki time to grow and become more powerful, at least until she is powerful enough to escape from the man if he ever did find her.

“Then please do so, Master. I will work hard and cultivate and then kill that bastard with everything I have.” Nana was the one to answer. She was more angry about the demonic seed than Yuki was!

“Nana, Yuki has to be the one to kill him.” Elder Nishikawa chuckled. She could see that Nana was very protective of Yuki.

“Then I will hold him down and let Yuki dig out this heart!” Nana’s eyes were filled with determination. She hated the fact that someone dared to claim her Yuki as theirs!

“Alright. It’s getting late. Yuki, pull your night shirt off and sit in front of me.” Elder Nishikawa flipped her hand, creating a small ball of flame.

Yuki stood up and pulled her nightshirt off, revealing her snow white skin that was hidden underneath. She stood there with only a pair of white panties on before taking a few steps and sitting down in front of Elder Nishikawa with her legs crossed under her.

Elder Nishikawa blew on the flames, causing them to stretch out and form a circle. She then looked at Yuki’s chest, her eyes lighting up with a golden flame. The snow white skin in front of her disappeared, and all she saw was a pulsating heart that had a purple seed that had sported roots into it. “Go…..” The circle of flames shot forward and entered Yuki’s body, causing her expression to contort in pain. The pain only lasted a few seconds as the flames quickly reached their destination and encircled Yuki’s heart. Soon, the entire heart was engulfed in flames along with the Demonic seed. The flames did not burn, though but kept changing different colors.

“D0ne. You can put your nightshirt back on.” Elder Nishikawa reached up and scratched Yuki’s ears. “Don’t worry, with me around, that bastard will not be able to get near you. I will come up with some more countermeasures for the time being as well. You two go get some sleep.”

In another place far from Yuki and Nana, a man was in a dark room playing with some kind of red liquid when he suddenly paused. “Hmmmm? Now this makes things more interesting. Little one, no matter how much you hide, I will eventually find you. But for now, grow, grow stronger. And when the time comes, I will come get you.”
