Legend Of Yuki: The Wrath Of The Tailed Asura
Her Time Was Precious
The sect master smiled as he stood on top of the newly fixed stage and looked at everyone. He stroked his beard a few times as if thinking about something before finally speaking. “We have seen quite a few amazing battles today. And will soon see the final battle of the outer sect tournament. As stated before, after the final battle, all outer sect disciples will be able to challenge an inner sect disciple. If you win, you will take their position in the inner sect, and they will take yours in the outer sect.
“Sects do not have unlimited resources. And we also feel friendly competition is needed to….” The sect master started to frown as he looked off into the horizon. A dark spot could be seen growing bigger and bigger. Elder Nishikawa and the other grand elders all suddenly appeared next to the sect master, all looking in the same direction.
Yuki and Nana both turned to look up in the same direction as the elders. Not just them but everyone else did too, but more in a confused fashion. “What is that?” Yuki asked softly.
“I am not sure, but whatever happens, we need to survive.” Nana’s only thought was protecting Yuki from any harm. She gripped Yuki’s hand tight, her palms slightly sweaty.
“Mmm… We will run if we can not win.” Yuki did not plan to abandon the sect or her master either but if things got out of control, she would fight her way out, dragging Nana with her.
It did not take long before a large shadow filled the sky. It was a wooden boat floating in the air. “Old Dan, you are still alive?”
“Heh… Not even close to death. But you, on the other hand….. Old Fang, you look like you are about to sail across the yellow river. Is this why you are here on that boat?” The sec master did not give the old man any face. He hated this old bastard.
By Yuki and Nana, Fatty couldn’t help but frown. “If I am not wrong, that is the sect master of the Roaring Thunder Sect. It seems he is here to cause trouble. From what I know, our sect and his are secretly at war. This is why you do not see many of the core disciples. They mainly patrol our territory to make sure no one else dares to try to sneak in.”
“So he is here to cause trouble?” Yuki’s eyes flashed with killing intent. She wondered what their blood tasted like….
“I am not sure. I only know that we do not seem to fight too openly unless it is a tournament.” Fatty replied.
“Let’s just wait and see how things work out,” Rin spoke up. She did not want anyone doing anything too reckless.
“Hah!” The Roaring Thunder Sects sect master let out a loud laugh. “I heard you were having a small tournament, so I figured I would stop by and see if you are willing to have a few of your outer sect disciples fight my disciples. Of course, they will all be outer sect disciples as well.”
“You came all the way here just to get slapped in the face?” The sect master felt that maybe it was time to really stand out. He had so many excellent disciples now it would be a shame not to show them off. “Yuki, Nana, come up here.”
Yuki and Nana looked at each other and then Elder Nishikawa, who nodded before finally walking over and jumping up onto the stage. They both respectfully cupped their hands and bowed their heads to the sect master. “Sect Master.”
“I want you two to play with their disciples. Remember, anything goes as long as they are not dead or crippled.” The sect master leaned forward and whispered to Yuki: “This means you can peel skin or even chop off body parts.”
“Hehe!” Yuki smiled. She was very happy now.
Nana could only shake her head at how happy Yuki was to get to torture someone. “I will leave them for Yuki. Yuki, when you get bored, let me know I will beat them up.”
“Thanks, Nana!” Yuki hugged Nana and kissed her cheek.
“Hey. Hey. Are you looking down on my sect Old Dan!? Are you going to send two little girls to face my disciples? Has your sect been reduced to this?” The Roaring Thunder Sect’s sect master couldn’t help but sneer. He turned and looked at a young man and waved his hand. “Get down there and take care of both of them.”
“Old Fang, why don’t we make a bet?” The sect master knew Yuki and Nana’s abilities well. They could easily defeat any of the disciples on board the flying boat.
“A bet?” The Roaring Thunder Sect’s sect master couldn’t help but frown slightly.
“Yes, a bet! We will bet the spirit stone mines near the border. Right now, they are split between our two sects. We will bet full control of them. If my two disciples here can beat all of your disciples that you send down that are in the outer sect, then we win. If not, you win. How is that?” The sect master’s wide smile brimming with confidence, was giving the Roaring Thunder Sect’s sect master a bad feeling. But he knew if he did not take this bet, he would be losing face!
“Fine!” The Roaring Thunder Sect’s sect master shouted. “But I have fifteen people here. To make it so I am not bullying them, I will give them thirty minutes between mat….”
“No need! Just send them all.” Yuki’s voice suddenly sounded out. Why would she waste her time fighting people one on one when it was more fun to fight them all at once? Yuki liked to use her precious time efferently!
The Roaring Thunder Sect’s sect master frowned. He glared coldly at Yuki and said: “Little girl, you should not interrupt your eld….”
“Can we stop talking and fight already? For someone so old, you really have a lot of hot air in you.”
