Yuki pursed her lips as she asked: “So does that mean you will be watching Nana and I as we are cultivating?”

Elder Nishikawa cleared her throat and nodded. “Yes, I will have no choice. Since you did not follow the correct method of working your way up to the end goal of the cultivation method I gave you, you will need to be monitored. It will not be just me; Silvia will need to be there as well from now on.”

“Huh?” Silvia’s eyes widened. Why was she being dragged into this!? She did not want to watch her two masters making love!

Yuki looked at Nana, who looked back at her; both were not very happy at this moment. Yuki took a deep breath before asking: “Then… for how long?”

“A week at most with Silvia in the room. I just have to make sure that there will be no issues. After that, Silvia can go back to cultivating, and I will only keep an eye on you for another week. I just have to make sure that there are no mishaps.” Elder Nishikawa was not lying when she said this. She was actually doing all of this as a safety measure. She knew that it would be embarrassing, but she hoped the girls could put up with it for a short time.

Yuki could only agree. She could not stop cultivating just because of embarrassment. She did not like it, but she had no choice. Plus, she could not pass up being able to jump two fate stars a night. And she figured she would forget about everything once she was already in the process of it all.

“Since we have no other choice, we will follow what you say.” Yuki gave in. She looked at Silvia, whose whole face was bright red, and gave her an apologetic smile.

“Alright, good. For now, you will be learning the new transformation technique.” Elder Nishikawa tried to clear her mind. When she saw Yuki and Nana last night, she couldn’t help but be turned on and ended up stripping down and using her fingers to pleasure herself in sync with the two girls. She knew it was bad, but she couldn’t help it. The two were just so seductive.

With things now settled, Elder Nishikawa brought the two girls to her garden and picked two different strands of grass. She held them in front of Yuki and Nana and asked: “What is the difference between these two herbs?”

“Master, those are just blades of grass.” Nana frowned. She did not know what grass had to do with alchemy.

“Nana, those are herbs. One is a strand of frostbite grass, and the other is a strand of silver grass. We used them a lot in my village.” Yuki explained.

“Correct.” Elder Nihikawa raised an eyebrow. She did not expect Yuki to know this. “Since you know what they are, do you know what they do?”

“Frostbite grass is good for numbing pain while silver grass, if crushed up with a little bit of water to form a paste, can act as a disinfectant when placed on to a wound. We used to mix them together to get both properties.” Yuki answered.

“That is the basic form of what these two can do. When you combine these two types of grass with different herbs, they can do many different things. One includes a rank 1 healing pill. You need three blades of Silver grass, one blade of frostbite grass, a flake of heaven’s root, and a stalk of purple spirit flowers. When these are all mixed together and fused, the properties will begin to change and will create a healing effect. This can then be taken internally or externally based on the situation. While the healing rate is slow, it is still visible to the naked eye.

“All herbs have a basic use, but in alchemy, they can have multiple uses. Like how frostbite grass, if mixed with some other herbs, can become frost poison. They can be good, and they can be bad.” Elder Nishikawa explained. “So what seems to be a simple blade of grass can do many different things. Never look down on the herbs around you. They can save your life or help you defeat an enemy.”

“Sorry, Master….” Nana lowered her head. She felt embarrassed.

“No, it’s fine because most cultivators who have never touched herbs would not know such a thing. They would just step on it as if it was just normal grass, and in a way, they would be right. But it can be valuable to low-ranking alchemists who are just starting out. My task for you two, when you go out on your monthly mission, is to find the ingredients to make a rank-one healing pill. You will first practice how to make it here, and then you will bring back all the ingredients while out on your mission and show me what you have found. If you pass this test, I will teach you how to make more pills after that.” Elder Nishikawa was starting them off slow so that they could slowly grasp the concepts of pill refinement.

“We will do our best!” Nana lifted her head and said. If it was something that she could use to maybe save her Yuki one day, she would learn what ever she needed to.

“Good. Now come, I will show you the differences between these grass types.”
