Creating Worlds

Legend Of Yuki: The Wrath Of The Tailed Asura

18 years stuck in a hospital bed, always taken care of by those around her. Sick all her life Yuki finally passed away. What she did not expect was to be reborn as a fox girl? A world of cultivation. A world where might makes right.Yuki will need to learn to survive in this new world. Will she be able…

Escorting Refugees

A few hours later, everyone was ready to go except one person who seemed to now be attached to Yuki’s hip. “Silvia, what are you doing!?” Nana pursed her lips and tried to pull Silvia away from her Yuki.

Silvia only glanced at Nana before ignoring her. Right now, she was feeling very close to the fox girl. They both had the same kind of aura. One that sought the thrill of the kill. Seeing Yuki as she slaughtered and killed people without mercy. How she fought people much stronger than her and won. It rang deep in her soul. She wanted to wrap Yuki up in her webs and keep her for herself!

Nana was not happy at all. She could only glare at Silvia and hold on to Yuki’s other arm. This was her Yuki! She would never give her to anyone else! She bared her teeth at Silvia and let out a muffled roar. She wanted to squash the spider, but she couldn’t!

Yuki was really confused as to what was going on. She did not understand why Silvia was clinging to her all of a sudden, and she did not know why Nana was getting so mad. Of course, if it was the other way around, Yuki would understand, but as of now, she was a bit stupid as to what was going on. Haruhi, on the other hand, was finding the little spat quite interesting, and it was not just her. The refugees also found it quite amusing.

“It will take us two days to reach the next village. Someone from the sect will be here in the next few days to take care of the clean-up.” Haruhi had already sent a message back to the sect to tell them that the village had been cleaned up. While brutal in her methods, both Yuki and Nana passed their test with flying colors.

They traveled the entire day until nightfall. Yuki, Nana, and Silvia all sat on a tree branch, looking down at the camp below. Silvia finally detached herself from Yuki’s arm and was sitting there watching out over the horizon. Nana was using Yuki’s arm as a pillow, and Yuki, herself, was lost in thought about what had happened during the day. She was trying to figure out if there was something different she could have done. But no matter how she looked at it, there was not much she could do better.

The only thing she regretted was the fact that she was forced to use her heavenly lightning. She had wanted to keep this trump card a secret, but it seemed now with that fact that she let the old man go, word would probably spread. “I need to get stronger….”

“You will….” Silvia, who was quiet this entire time, suddenly spoke up. She did not look in Yuki’s direction, but the words she said were from the bottom of her heart. She meant it when she said Yuki would get stronger. She could tell that Yuki was going to grow so strong that even she would never be able to catch up.

Yuki only smiled when she heard that. She also knew she would get stronger, but she still felt so weak. She wanted to show the world that she, a celestial fox, was not someone they could mess with. Even if she had to slaughter her way to the top to prove it, she would. She still had a long way to go before she could even meet the bastards who attacked her village. She hoped soon she would be able to venture out and finally try to get some kind of clues as to which pill sect attacked her village.

The night passed quickly. Nana woke up well rested but blushed when she realized she had missed her turn to keep watch. “Yuki, why didn’t you wake me?”

“Because watching your sleeping face was enough to keep me going all night,” Yuki replied teasingly. Nana pursed her lips and lowered her head shyly. Her Yuki was picking her!

“We will set out in an hour. You should eat something before we start walking.” Haruhi had done this a few times already, so she knew the journeys between villages was not easy for those who had just picked up and left. So she always had two stops during the trips. Once in the afternoon for lunch, and the second was at night. Traveling at night was much more dangerous than traveling during the day, mainly due to the demonic beasts that came out at night.

“We will be right there!” Yuki patted Nana on the shoulder before hoping down. Nana quickly followed after her, with Silvia not too far behind.

Food was nothing more than some horned rabbits that they caught in the field roasted over the fire without any seasoning. It was not much, but it was better than nothing. Lucking such demonic beasts were in abundance, so there were ten of them roasting at once. Since they were fat and juicy, it was enough to feed everyone without issue.

As they ate, Haruhi explained their plans. “We will reach our destination by nightfall as long as everything goes as planned. If, by chance, we are attacked by demonic beasts or cultivators, things will be delayed a little. We will talk to the village chief early in the morning, so we will be camping again tonight. Please be ready for anything since we are coming up on a dangerous spot on this road.”
