Legend Of Yuki: The Wrath Of The Tailed Asura
The Path Of The Bloody Petals Part 2
Yuki’s mind was working overtime. She was trying to comprehend each slash and match footwork to it. She was like a computer processing a large amount of data as she sat there trying to figure it out. Her token flashed each time and had already flashed green, showing she had reached the third level of comprehension. Kept understanding the sword technique more and more, and the more she understood, the more she fell in love.
Yes, it was love. She loved this crazy, maniacal sword technique that slaughtered her enemies with a playful yet graceful style. She was the only one left sitting in front of this tablet. Many have come and gone, but they could not even come close to understanding anything.
On the other side, Nana had already tested out a few tablets. She got a basic understanding of each of them before moving on when she realized that the tablet did not fit her well. She climbed halfway up the mountain when her eyes flashed as she reached a certain tablet. The aura coming from it felt familiar to her. “This one.” She whispered under her breath.
She walked over to the tablet and sat down. Her eyes stared at the inscription on it before closing her eyes. In her mind, a small chuckle could be heard as a bright golden light shot from the tablet and entered her mind. “It’s been a long time since I have seen a kin.”
Elder Li looked at Nana with a face full of approval. “The sect master will be happy to know one of his kind is receiving his teachings.” He was glad this girl was here. It had been many years since this tablet had been of use to anyone. His eyes switched from Nana to a certain spider girl who was sitting on top of a tablet with a frown on her lips. He chuckled, seeing which tablet she was desecrating, and couldn’t help but find it funny. “The vice sect master will be happy to know his tablet was of some use.”
Silvia was not happy. None of these tablets fit her. She had walked halfway up the mountain and saw Nana sitting in front of a tablet, so she went to the one opposite. Who would have thought this tablet was even worse than the ones at the start? “I need to find something good.” Sighing, the poor spider girl continued up the mountain, searching for something that fit her.
Inside Nana’s mind, a man with a dragon’s tail and horns on his head stood with his wings spread out on his back. “It’s been too long. I have long wanted to continue to pass down my knowledge to the dragonlings who come my way. But this mortal realm really has too few mystic races left. I safeguard as many as I can and try my best to keep the factions who would use their unique blood traits for their pill refinements. But I am not omnipotent. Dragling. From this moment on, I will teach you everything I know. Practice it and learn it well. When you reach the Holyland, come to the dragon sect. I will take you as my personal disciple. Work hard and survive. Hide among the humans if you need to, but know once you join my sect, you no longer need to hide. You can reveal your true form and walk around proudly. The mystic races are not meant to be hidden. It is people with evil hearts who see us as resources. And I, the last of the great dragon clan, will not let those old bastards have their way.”
“How did you know I was a dragon?” Nana asked. She was not speaking out loud but in her mind.
“Because any dragon who sits in front of this tablet will only get the true inheritance I have set here to bring my fellow kin under my wing.” The man replied.
“Would you protect my love? My family? The two people in this world I love the most? Otherwise, I reject everything. I will hide and gain power until I can slaughter the world standing next to those I love.” Nana’s eyes show no hesitation. Her eyes were firm, and this firmness made the man smile.
“Then so be it. I will take them all and allow you to grow into the powerhouse you wish to be. This world, this mortal world, is only the start. Reach the peak of the heavenly sea and rule the mortal world. Break the binds of the mortal world and ascend to the realms beyond. Your path is only starting dragling. I will help you reach your goals.” The man replied with a smile. He already liked this young one. She had the pride of a dragon and the loyalty every dragon should have.
“I will only go if Yuki goes.” Nana suddenly stated. “Yuki is my life and reason for living. Her path is my path. We will walk through the depths of hell together. This is our sole promise to the heavens. She is my doa partner for all eternity.”
“And that she should be. I will not push you to come here. I am only asking you to try. If your dao partner has different plans, then so be it. But this does not change the fact that I will teach you what it means to be a dragon.”
