Legend Of Yuki: The Wrath Of The Tailed Asura
Little Mei
A quarter of the way up the mountain, where very few cultivators could be seen trying to comprehend the tablets in front of them, Silvia finally stopped in front of an odd looking cave. It was quite hidden due to the overgrowth that covered the entrance and the small path that was hard to see. She took interest immediately as she slowly made her way down the path, pushing past the tall bushes that blocked her way.
The vines and moss that covered the entrance were pushed aside as Silvia stepped inside. She took a look around to see that the cave itself was not very deep, but sitting at the end was a cracked stone tablet that did not look like it had been seen in years.
She walked over to it and sat down in front of it. She did not know why, but she felt like maybe this was the tablet she had been looking for. The ones she had seen thus far none of them seemed to resonate with her. Even after learning a little of what they were, she still stood up, not caring to even try to comprehend it anymore.
The words on the tablet suddenly began glowing and shot into Silvia’s head. The symbols danced around before breaking up into pictures. The pictures show a woman using thread as her weapon. She was covered in blood with a crazed smile on her face as she faced a massive army. Her threads spread out instantly like a spider web decapitating millions of people. She was a god of death, as each step was like traveling a few miles at a time. They were light and graceful, as if she were dancing.
Silvia watched as the woman came in contact with another woman. This woman had an aura of death around her and tilted her head back, looking at the woman with threads. The woman gave a crazed smile as she asked: “Little Mei, did you come to kill me, too?”
“Why would I want to kill my master?” Little Mei replied. “Master, why will you not pass the asura inheritance to me if you plan to move on?”
“Because you found a different path. You are the silken thread while I am an asura. You kill with ease while I crave the blood and massacre. One violent. One delicate. We reach the same goals, but you do not need to reap the souls of others. Little Mei, trust me when I say that being an asura is not fun. You will slowly lose your mentality. Your gentleness, which I oh so crave. You will be hunted. You will be forced to fight every day without rest until your mind has become like mine. You will slaughter everything.”
Little Mei looked at the woman, her eyes tearing up. “But master, I have always been ready! I have been working for this day. I have slaughtered millions just to get to you. How am I not ready to walk the path of blood?”
“Little Mei….” The woman sighed. “I can not allow you to become like me, but I will entrust you to find someone who is worthy. Someone whom you think will be able to walk the path of blood along with you while you form your won cultivation path. Little Mei, trust me when I say I do not wish to harm you. You may kill millions, but you are no asura. I must leave. I will leave my inheritance behind. One day, when you are ready to ascend, come find me. We will have tea and catch up on old times. Little Mei, do not let your path be hindered here. Walk strong. Walk a path only you know how to walk.”
After these images faded, the images of Little Mei working hard day after day to improve her own method of using her threads passed. Her skill became so good that she could kill people with her threads from hundreds of miles away. She did not even need to see her opponent before their heads would fly. Little Mei’s cultivation also surged. She one day found a young girl who had lost everything. Little Mei took her in and began training her how to fight. But the girl was not good at threads but excelled in swords. Her every move was as like a bloody flower, with each striking wild and crazy. She watched as the young girl grew up, and the crazed smile on her face never faded for a second as she slaughtered everyone who dared to come near her. She reminded Little Mei so much of her master.
It was then that Little Mei decided to send her to her Master’s inheritance grounds that only she knew. But before Little Mei could find out if she succeeded or not, she had ascended to the heavens above.
“You smell like her….” A voice entered Silvia’s mind. “You have the scent of an asura on you.”
“Mm… My lover is also the asura.” Silvia replied honestly.
“I see… so you are like me. No, maybe you are better off since you are already lovers. Young one from the spider race, will you learn my abilities? I have waited thousands of years to finally get to teach someone my skills.”
