Legend Of Yuki: The Wrath Of The Tailed Asura
The Storm Of Bloody Wind Part 2
“I will not lose!” Yuki roared in her mind as she used her heavenly lightning to fight against the black lighting. As long as she could fend it off, she was sure she could refine it. She was using every ounce of power she had that she could expose to refine this black lightning that was trying to cripple her.
The pain she was enduring reminded her of the time she had spent on the table, having her organs poked and prodded by that old man. She did not wish to even think of those days, but at this time, the pain she was now feeling had surpassed her own tolerance and was now shaking her to her core, bringing out even the darkest of fears she had hidden so deep that nothing could pull them out.
“No! I will get through this! Don’t think useless thoughts, Yuki!” Yuki tried to change her mindset as she felt her skin melting away. She knew her poor tail was in a mess at this time. She did not know what she was going to do if her tail ended up being burnt off. But she knew if she stopped to do anything at this time, she would die for sure.
Elder Nishikawa, who was watching her beloved disciple, who had turned into a charred piece of meat, gritted her teeth. She wanted to rush into the mystic realm, but the old man was not letting her. She did not know if she could trust this 0ld man or not. If she had to, she would use everything she had, even if it meant exposing herself to the higher realms.
“Calm down.” Yuki’s sect master placed his hand on Elder Nishikawa’s shoulder. “Relax. She will be fine. If you try to save her, she will not grow. She needs to work hard. Harder than anyone else. If she lets her defeat her, then that is the end of her path. We can at least preserve her life and let her live freely in the sect.”
“You do not know what that girl has been through!” Elder Nishikawa replied in a low voice. But her voice was filled with anger.
“I might not know, but I do know that if you do not let her overcome this on her own, she will never be able to survive in the future.” Yuki’s sect master was not trying to be mean. His words held great weight to them. Elder Nishikawa knew this, but to her, Yuki and Nana were her most precious disciples. They were mystic races that had shared similar fates. They were family to her. She could not stand seeing her family hurt like this.
“I know….” Elder Nishikawa took a deep breath. She hated it, but it was true. She could only stare intently at the small figure who was doing her best to stay alive.
“Don’t worry…. That little girl is winning.” The old man could see everything. The chaos lightning was slowly being refined. As long as she refined this lightning, she would have one of the only trump cards in all of the mortal realm that could kill someone at the peak. What stunned him the most was that the girl had combined demonic qi and spiritual qi and created a harmony between the two systems. He did not know how she accomplished this, and no matter how much he wished to know, he knew it was an unwritten rule to ask about others’ cultivation techniques.
“Who are you?” Elder Nishikawa asked again. She did not even know where this old man came from.
“As I said, I am a friend of the little fox.” The old man replied with a smile. “Little friend, you have a good disciple. When she leaves this place, her name will span every corner of the mortal world. She is the first to create a high level technique at such a young age. And one that surpasses the mortal world itself. You will need to turn your attention to protecting her.”
“I know….” Elder Nishikawa was not stupid. She knew this well! After making such a scene in public, she knew there was no way for her to hide what she had done. She will be targeted by all the sects and other powers to find out what her technique is.
Back on Yuki’s side, her lips curled up slightly as she started getting used to the pain. “Hehe…. I win!” as she refined the black lightning, her meridians started to expand further, allowing more spiritual qi and demonic qi to naturally enter her body. It would enter her body and slowly follow the paths around each point, nourishing them. She did not even need to cultivate to do this. It was an automatic thing.
It was also helping her refine the black lightning that she was fighting against as if it were alive. It was trying hard to escape her heavy lightning that was acting like a rope that would wrap around the black lightning and cut a piece of it off for her to more easily refine.
“Just a little more. Just a little more.” Yuki was so close she could feel it. Luckily, the dark clouds over head did not seem to be willing to drop another bolt of lightning but more as if it was watching the young girl to see how she dealt with this attack.
