“Is it just me, or are there a lot of people surrounding us?” Selene asked as she sniffed the air.

“Yeah, quite a few, actually.” Delia nodded as she went to stand up but was pulled back down. “Yuki?”

“Let them come. Nana and Silvia looked like they wanted some fun. So let them deal with this.” Yuki motioned towards the two girls who were already on their feet doing stretches.

“Alright, then I will sit here.” Delia pursed her lips and picked up a meat skewer from the fire. They had been traveling for a while now and were supposed to reach their destination the next day. But it seemed that the mission they were given was indeed a trap.

Yuki also took two meat skewers from the fire and passed one to Selene. They were both tired since they had been fighting off and on for the past few days. Yuki really found fighting with Selene fun. She could feel herself growing faster as well. Not cultivation wise but battle wise. It has helped her refine her ability to dodge and attack. Look for openings and watch her opponent’s movements. While she still gets knocked around due to Selene growing just as fast, she enjoys fighting nonetheless.

Thirty men in black suddenly appeared from the forest. Each one was radiating powerful auras. “This….” It was just that they did not expect to see a bunch of mystic races appearing here. “Heh…. Looks like we got ourselves some living gold. Capture them, and we can sell them to the pill sect.”

“Oh?” A voice filled with killing intent suddenly filled the air. The man in black, who seemed to be the leader, only saw a white flash before he felt something tighten around his neck. He could hardly breathe, not just by the fact that his throat was being seized but also because a heavy pressure was weighing down on him. “Tell me about this pill sect you would sell us to.”

“Yuki, don’t kill him!” Nana called out to remind the fox girl, who now had red bands of qi flowing up and around her. 

“I know….” Yuki slowly relaxed her grip, just enough not to kill the man. “Kill the rest. I need to have a chat with this one.”

“Got it!” Nana, Silvia, and even Selene answered in unison. 

The thirty men in black were completely taken by surprise. Before they could do anything, their leader had already been captured, and now…. It was a nightmare. Three young girls were killing everyone in front of them. The dragon girl was slicing people in half. The spider girl was turning people into diced flesh. And the human girl was smashing people’s heads in with fists covered in violet color flames. 

“Mission failed! Retreat!” One of the men in black yelled out, but he only got two steps when his legs suddenly became merged with the ground. 

“No running…. My Wifey would not like it if you got away. You need to stay and play with the others.” Delia was still sitting on the log she had been sitting on this entire time. Anyone who dared to run would find themselves merged with the ground, unable to move. She did not wish for anyone to leave this place. Since they came to harm her Yuki, then they had to stay and die. She would not kill them since Yuki told her not to, but she did not need to worry about it since the others were doing an amazing job.

As for the leader of the group, Yuki had already dragged him back to the fire and pinned him to the ground with her tails. She stepped over the man with a smile on her face, causing the man to pale in fear.

“What are you planning!? No matter how much you torture me, I will never talk!” The man yelled out. 

“Hehe…. They all say that.” Yuki drew her sword and knelt down. “Now then….. Let’s see how you look under that mask and skin, shall we?” Yuki yanked the mask down on the man, or what she thought to be a man. But in fact, she was a woman… a beauty at that. Yuki did not know why she was portraying herself as a man, nor did she care. Right now, all she cared about was…. “They say a woman values their faces. You have a beautiful face yourself. I wonder if I skin it just right if someone will be willing to buy it. I think if I sell it on the black market, I might get a few spirit stones out of it.”

Delia’s eyes lit up as she watched the show at the side. She never thought she would get a dinner and a movie! “Yuki, I know someone who will buy it for three high rank spirit stones.”

“Then I guess I should be extra careful.” Yuki grinned at Delia before looking back at the woman in black, who was sweating from head to toe, wishing she could kill herself. But for some reason, no matter how much she clenched her jaw and tried to crack the tooth with poison in it, she was unable to! It was like the tooth had become so strong nothing could break it! Delia, of course, was back at it again, making sure no one got away. Especially the woman who had some answers for her, Yuki.
