Another strike landed, striking Yuki once more. But Yuki did not even flinch. Her will did not waver. She stared up at the sky with her arms spread out, welcoming the lightning as it struck her body.

The old man watched from afar in shock. He could see the lightning being absorbed into Yuki’s body. The crimson lightning, the color of blood, seemed to not harm her at all and instead was strengthening her body. “Her body is turning into pure lightning… A pure lightning body…. But her clothes…” 

The old man blushed as he waved his hand, creating streaks of white light that obscured the vision of Yuki’s special bits of those around. Only then could the old man focus on what he was seeing. He watched as three tails grow from Yuki’s backside. One white like most of her other tails. A solid crimson red tail the color of blood. And a golden tail that shimmered in the in the light. These tails swayed with the others. 

But things did not seem to be over yet. Another tail began to form as the Yuki began sucking in lightning bolt after lightning bolt. This one was different from the others. It was almost spiritual in form. But it was completely made up of lightning. Along with the rest of her body arcs of lightning began to spring out before jumping back in. 

“A complete lightning body…. She actually did it. She has actually formed a complete lightning body. She has become one with lightning!” The old man’s eyes brimmed with excitement. The idea of someone actually being able to change their body into lightning was only written about in texts. There were many different kinds of bodies. There was the mortal form. This was nothing more than a mortal body that could no longer age as you cultivated. There was a poison body, which was a body made up of poison. An ice body, a fire body, an earth body, and even a wind body. But out of all the bodies, the lightning body was said to be the hardest to obtain. 

“The last known occurrence of the lightning body was when the Lightning Emperor tried to take control of the immortal realm.” The old man sighed. A small fox girl was able to do something many only dreamed about and sought out but died without being able to get even a tenth of the way. But this girl did it all in such a short time. Her true path of cultivation will break her away from the higher realms of this world and bring her to the real upper realms. Once she finishes her core shattering and merges her cores to create a nascent soul, she will be a step away from reaching the Immortal realm. 

The old man looked at the clouds overhead that were starting to disappear and smiled. The young girl had once more beaten all odds. His body flashed, and he appeared next to Yuki and went to place a robe over her body, but Yuki stopped him. “No need.”
 
Yuki smiled at the old man as a white robe made of lighting appeared. Yuki cupped her hands and said: “Thank you for protecting my dignity. I was not expecting my clothes to burn off.”

“It is what I should do. I should also congratulate you. A pure lightning body. You are basically unstoppable in this realm, but you should still be careful. Do not waver from your current path. Once you shatter your cores and create a nascent soul, you will be on a different path than the rest. Your partners will also need to do the same. I will give you a method of helping them turn to the right path.” The old man replied and lifted his hand. A golden light shot from his fingertip and entered Yuki’s mind. 

Yuki did not resist and found a large amount of information being put into her head. “You said the right path. Does it differ from the path most people take in this world?” Yuki asked.

“Yes. You will not be able to enter the realms of this world until you have broken the bounds of the mortal realm and passed through to the demi-god realm. Once you become a demi-god, you can then step into the realms of this world and visit those you wish to see. Although you will be restricted to the peak of that realm.” The old man replied.

    “I see..” Yuki let out a sigh. She really wished to see Sei. Her mentor who had helped her a lot. She could only sigh. She would need to work hard to reach the demi-god realm. 

“You should rest and stabilize your new cultivation. Your friends and sect members are safe, but I sent them to the main continent of this realm. If you wish to see them, head there. The little cat girl is waiting for you to the east. The two of you combined should be enough to take care of the pill sect on this continent. But I will have to tell you that your master has been taken to the mainland already. I can not interfere anymore. I only came here to witness your change. I will be waiting for you in the god realm. When you reach there, I will make you my personal disciple. For now, I must go. Be safe, Little One.” The old man patted Yuki on the head before disappearing.

Yuki did not know why, but she felt a familiar aura from that old man. If it was not for that aura, she would never let him touch her head. Yuki took a deep breath as her eyes turned cold. “Master, just wait. I will come and rescue you soon.”
