I’m Home
“You are not going to beg for your life?” Yuki asked as she looked at Elder Hejijo
“You just killed everyone here. I am the one who brought them here to take your life. What right do I have to beg for a life I was willing to give up, to begin with, to fight you? Just do with me as you please.” Elder Hejijo replied. He sat in the air, ready for his soul to be ripped out at any moment.
“Tell me this before you die.” Yuki stood in front of the muscular man. “How many mystic races does your sect have at this time? Are there any celestial foxes being held captive? Any dragonkin?”
“I don’t know the specifics since I never relied on tonics, but I do know they have quite a few. I am not willing to tell you more than this, so do not ask. Now take my soul.” Elder Hejijo closed his mouth after speaking, refusing to say anymore.
“Thank you. I promise to use your cultivation wisely.” Yuki spoke softly as she stabbed out and ripped Elder Hejijo’s soul from his body and quickly consumed it. She at least wanted him to go without any pain.
“So what now?” Delia asked.
“We go find Nana and the others. After resting a few more days, we will go to the Celestial Heaven Sect and take them down.” Yuki wanted to meet up with the others before taking down the Celestial Heaven Sect. She also wished to digest the souls she had just taken in. She had to be careful not to break through, or else she might end up ascending without meaning, too. The last thing she wanted was to leave her wives in the mortal realm.
“Okay. I will bring you there now.” Delia held Yuki’s hand, and then the two vanished. Delia used a movement technique that allowed her to travel through the shadows. She quickly arrived at the entrance of the forbidden mountain where the Heavenly Cloud Sect was slowly rebuilding.
“You want to walk from here?” Delia asked curiously. She thought that Yuki would want to fly up to the mountain peak to take a look.
“Mm… I want to see our new home and get a grasp of the lan….” Yuki suddenly stopped talking and turned her head towards the sky. A black dot that was slowly becoming visible was seen overhead. A smile appeared on her face as she shook her head. “This girl is so crazy!”
“Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuukkkkkkkkkkiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!”
*Boom!*
A small crater formed under Yuki’s feet as she caught the falling Dargon girl in her arms. She looked at the tears rolling down Nana’s face and felt her heart ache for her. “Sorry… It took longer than expected.”
“Yuki! Yuki! Yuki!” Nana could only say Yuki’s name as she rubbed her face in Yuki’s chest as if she was trying to mark her territory.
Yuki smiled and gently rubbed the back of Nana’s head. “Mmm… I am here. I am home.”
“Mmm! Yuki!” Nana just couldn’t get enough of her Yuki’s scent.
“Yuki!” Silvia also came floating down and jumped on Yuki, hugging her tightly. She knew something was up when Nana suddenly took off running.
“I’m home, Silvia.” Yuki hugged Silvia as well. These two girls always seemed so lost without her.
“Welcome back.” Selene stood there trying to act aloof but the blush on her cheeks and the smile that was on her face showed that she was glad Yuki was back.
“Mmmm… Selene, I am back.” Yuki held out her free arm and motioned for Selene to come over. The wolf girl hesitated for a moment before suddenly being pushed from behind.
“Why are you acting all shy now, little wolf? Get over there.” Delia did not like it when Selene hesitated. She wanted this girl to stay by Yuki’s side.
Selene blushed as she felt Yuki hugging her. But her tail, which she was trying hard to control, betrayed her as it began to wag back and forth happily. Yuki smiled, seeing this. “It’s good to be back.”
The three girls hugged Yuki for a while before finally letting go. Only Nana was still stuck to Yuki. She ended up climbing onto Yuki’s body, afraid that if she let go, Yuki would disappear again.
Yuki did not care and gently held Nana’s butt so she would not fall. Yuki acted as if it was normal to have a dragon girl wrapped around her body. “Wait… Yuki, your cultivation!?”
“Oh right… I broke through. I am now in the nascent soul realm.” Yuki explained.
“Nascent soul?” Selene was confused.
“You will be learning more about it later. For now, let’s head to the sect. I want to go see everyone. And also….” Yuki leaned her head down and whispered into Nana’s ears.
“Okay…. I will wait….” Nana nodded. Yuki had told her there might be a chance that her dragonkin clansmen might be in the Celestial Heaven Sect.
“Let’s go up the mountain I want to see how things are now in the new sect.”
