I was not sure if Jen’s face was red from the shower or if it was due to our bodies being pressed together as our tongues swirled around each other, but she seemed to be very greedy for this kiss. It was almost as if she was confirming her own existence. As our lips parted, she stared into my eyes and seemed to have found what she was looking for because she smiled brightly at me. “Ai, no matter what happens in the future, I will be by your side.”

“I would hope so. You stole my first kiss in two lifetimes.” I replied with a teasing smile. I leaned in and gave her a peck on the lips before trailing it down to her neck and giving her a big love bite just below her collarbone.

“Hey! Me too!” Jen seemed to think it was a contest as she did the same thing. We ended our little intimate moment there and began washing up. We chatted about random things and what we planned to do in the future before exiting the shower and having lunch.

Only then did we end up splitting up again. Jen went back to running on the treadmill. She seemed to be very determined to gain more strength as soon as possible. As for me, I was currently working on the drones that would allow me to get into the lab tomorrow night.

Using copper wire and sending the right frequency through it, I was making an anti-gravity field that would encapsulate the robots. The strength of the anti-gravity field would decide how far off the ground the robot could float. Then, I would only need a small ion impulse to send the robot forward. It was simple and, most importantly, very quiet. 

Of course, the idea of anti-gravity at this time was still a fantasy according to public knowledge, but in reality, the army had long figured out anti-gravity but never released it since it was so easy to produce. It could not be used to make money, and one only needed to test the signal from the input to be able to figure it out. 

But this tech came in very handy in the future. But since this tech was indeed not something I could allow others to have, I already set up a small explosive device on the bottom of it that would blow the entire thing up if someone touched the drone that was not me.

After almost six hours, I had ten drones made up. All of which were hovering around me. “Ai this!?”

“Don’t touch them! These ones are special.” I quickly used the VR glasses I just made that had a mental input that allowed me to control the drones individually. The beauty of the human brain was that it could be used to do many things very simply if you knew what you were looking for. Brain waves were easy to capture, and each signal could be used in a different manner. However, these ones are a bit crude, so the input is tied to my brain waves only and not just a generic interface.

I watched as Jen put her hands behind her back, not daring to get close to the drones, and let out a sigh of relief. “These have explosives on them, and any human touch other than my own will set them off.”

This made Jen take a few steps back. I quickly put them away and turned them off. I turned to Jen and apologized. “Sorry for yelling.”

“No, it’s fine. In fact, I am glad you did, or I might have actually tried to touch them.” Jen blushed. At least she was honest.

“Alright. I am set for tomorrow. I already made the things I need, plus the drones. Let’s eat and then go to sleep and head back to my house in the morning.” Jen had already taken a second shower after working out, so sadly, there was no second shower time tonight, but I am sure my future will be filled with them later on. We did not have anything too amazing for breakfast, just some premade food I got from the store. I was really loving my inventory. 

After dinner, we retired to our bedroom, which, for the time being, only had a bed setup. To my surprise, as I was undressing, Jen stripped down to nothing and got right under the covers.  And since she had already done it, I followed suit. I got under the covers, looked at the blushing girl next to me, and pulled her into my arms. “Is it embarrassing?”

“Kind of but…. We have showered and bathed together since young, so I do not mind.” Jen said as she wrapped her arms around my waist. I was only joking before, but I guess Jen had taken my sleeping naked suggestion seriously. But I had to say I was not complaining. I mean, who would complain when a cute girl climbs into your bed naked?

“Well, I hope we can do this more often.” I slipped my hands down her body and spanked her butt, causing her to blush. This was followed by me rolling on top of her and stealing her lips. We kissed for quite a while before we snuggled up together and fell asleep.

The next morning, I sealed everything up, and we headed home. It was just that when we arrived, I did not expect the one person I did not wish to walk into to be standing there at the door. “Ai! Where the hell have you been!? You have not even been going to school! Not to mention you are dragging Jen around with you!”

“Mom….” I frowned. I could not tell her about the alien robot invasion yet, so I could only sigh and say: “The quantum field you are trying to make will not work unless you set the frequency to Z127834XY. As for the rest, Jen and I will be disappearing for a year and a  half. At that time, I promise when I come back, I will explain everything. Also, trust me on the frequency. You can just test it out with a small power output from the laser. It will create a small quantum field that can block bullets about the size of a palm if you use a phone battery to power the laser.”

After saying this, I grabbed Jen’s hand, turned around, and walked out of the house. My mother did not call for me, nor did I plan to let her stop me. Since she now knew I had been skipping school, the next course of action would be for me and Jen to disappear from the world for the time being. I know I was being rude by doing this, but I could not continue going to school. It would ruin all my plans.

Of course, an hour later, I got a call from my mother. “Ai, get back home now and explain yourself!”
