“Finally!” Lexy yelled out as she landed on the tall platform. She had to do ten consecutive jumps to reach this far, but she finally did it. She did each jump while carrying Megalim on her back. As for Megalim, she had her eyes squeezed shut as she clung to Lexy as if her life depended on it. Her fear of heights was not going away any time soon.  “Limlim, are you okay?”

“Lexy,  I can’t! No matter what, I am not letting go.” Megalim’s voice was trembling. She did not want to be a part of Lexy, so she mustered up her courage and clung to her like a koala bear in order to make it over to the platform. But now that they were on the shaky and full of gaps platform, she regretted it a lot. Unlike the boxes and the ledges on the mountain at that time, those were at least solid and stable, but this platform was different! 

Lexy patted Megalim’s hand as she said: “It’s fine. Having my cute Limlim cling on to me is not bad at all.” 

Lexy poked Megalim’s nose before stepping forward. As she did, a bandit suddenly spawned in front of her. “Die, intruder!” 

Lexy waved her whip, smacking the bandit, who instantly turned into cubes of light before looking across to the other end of the platform. “Limlim, our  troubles were not unrewarded!” An old wooden treasure chest was located at the end of the platform, making Lexy smile. She adjusted her grip on Megalim and hopped over to the treasure chest with a big smile on her face. She leaned down,  popped the latch on the chest, and opened it. It was at this moment that Lexy realized just how cheap of a game New World Online truly was. 

“What is this!?” Lexy frowned as she looked at the crap… Ahem.. treasure that she worked so hard to get to, only to find a dirty sock. She even inspected it, and the description said: “A long lost sock…”

“What the hell!? All that work for nothing!” Lexy yelled out. She had fallen so many times only to get a dirty sock! And one to boot! “This dungeon, really…” 

“Lexy, maybe it has some use… You never know, it could be a quest item or something that can be used for something later on. Like a side quest in the dungeon.” Megalim knew the game rarely gave out items, but even a single sock was a little too much, so she could only think it was used for a quest of some kind.

“Hmm… maybe… I will do as you say and store it away for now, but I swear if this is just as it looks and is nothing more than a dirty sock…. I will… I will…. I will, I don’t know, but I will do something! Nya!” Lexy waved her fist before reluctantly storing the dirty sock before picking up the treasure chest and tossing it off the edge of the platform. “Humph! Take that!”

Megalim chuckled and kissed Lexy’s cheek. She found her little kitty to be very cute. She then let out a big yawn. “It is probably late, so do you want to camp here?”

It was hard to tell the time of day, but Megalim felt that it was probably already late at night. But her words did make Lexy nod in agreement.  “We should head down to the first metal box, We can set up a fire there to cook some food.”

The two did just that. Lexy got a fire going, and Megalim cooked. After they ate, they stored everything away, and Lexy set up the tent. The two climbed inside where Lexy filled up the bathtub and heated it for a nice hot bath.  “Nyaaa! Limlim~”

Megalim, of course, would not let this chance go as she attacked Lexy’s ears. After clinging to Lexy all day, Megalim couldn’t control her desires anymore. The two pressed their naked bodies against each other while their tongues intertwined. They both had faint smiles on their faces as they played. Their fun did not stop in the bath and carried over to the bed where both Lexy’s and Megalim’s voices echoed through the tent as they reached their eargasms. 

The next morning Lexy woke up to Megalim sleeping on top of her, causing her to laugh. She looked at the silly girl who gave her world a whole new meaning with warmth and love. “My Limlim is always the best.”

Lexy ran her fingers through Megalim’s hair before gently stroking her head as the girl slept peacefully. Lexy no longer cared what her previous life was like. The her of now was the her she knew, and the girl in her arms was the love of her life. As she stared at Megalim’s sleeping face, she decided that one day she would hold a grand wedding and marry this silly, loveable girl.

After Megalim woke up, the two got dressed, they began exploring more of the dungeon.  They killed everything they came across, but they did not seem to find any actual items. There were many ore veins, but because they did not have a pickaxe, they could not mine them, which made Lexy feel a bit unhappy. She even repeatedly attacked it with her weapon, but every time she did, a message popped up that said: “Incorrect tool! Please equip a pickaxe before mining.”

And so they could only take out their aggravation on the poor bandits that showed up in an almost wave like fashion. But everything changed once they finally entered a large chamber through a set of wooden double doors. “This is the boss room?” Lexy looked around but did not see anything.

“Lexy, we should be careful. We do not know how strong a boss can be.” Megalim was already in battle mode, waiting for some kind of boss level character to come out. Only…
