Lexy finished smoothing out her tail as best as she could. She looked at the singed hair and felt like crying. She took good care of her tail! Now it was cooked! This was unforgivable! Lexy turned and glared at the fire elemental. She would not let this slide! “You big bullies! What did Waggy ever do to you!?”

Megalim, who was standing at the side, watched in awe as Lexy charged forward straight towards the fire elementals with her sword whip in hand, swinging it around wildly. Seconds later, a bunch of red cores lay on the ground. Elementals were one of the hardest mob monsters in the game to slay by yourself.  This was because they only had one weakness, and that was its core! 

“Humph! Teach you to pick on Waggy! Now to make sure none of you can ever  harm my Waggy again!”  Lexy let out another shout as she rushed forward. Her whip swinging the entire way. Megalim slowly followed behind her, looting all the drops. Elementals were a good source of rare materials for crafting, so she could not just leave them be. They would be a good income source for her and Lexy later on, or they could even forge their own gear with it as well.

As Lexy went on an elemental killing rampage, the bandits who were farther off all began to gather. “What the hell is that cat girl doing!? Why the hell is she killing our pets like some kind of lunatic!?”

“She was screaming something about hurting her, Waggy?”  Bandit A replied questioningly.

“Hurt her what!? What the hell is a Waggy?” Bandit B was very confused.

“Why is what a waggy is, so important? Shouldn’t we be asking how the hell the crazy cat girl is able to kill our pets so easily?” Bandit C was more focused on the disaster at hand than the reason.

“Should we send in our elites? I feel like if I went in, I would die instantly. I mean, she is slaying our pets as if they were stationary targets.” Bandit A did not wish to run in and die. He still had yet to get a girlfriend! He was already pushing thirty! Being a bandit was already rough as it was.

“What if… And I mean, what if…. we join the crazy cat girl? I mean, she looks pretty powerful. I do not think our elites will even get here in time if we call them. They are on the fourth floor, after all.” Bandit C suggested.

“Join the crazy cat girl!? Are you just as crazy as here!?” Bandit A yelled out.

“I was just saying, I mean, look at her! She’s cute and powerful. If we befriend her, maybe she will introduce us to her friends….” Bandit C was also a lonely one.

Bandit A was going to say something but closed his mouth. Bandit C made a fair point.  “Your right… if we can get her to introduce us to some friends, maybe we can finally have wives…”

“But will the higher ups allow such a thing? Wouldn’t they be jealous and try to steal our new wives?” Bandit B still had worries.

“Humph! With the crazy cat girl behind us, what do we have to be scared of!?” Bandit A yelled. 

Somehow Lexy suddenly became their biggest backer without her acknowledgment or her knowing. “Then we shall begin our mission of getting justice for Waggy!” 

“Yeah! For Waggy!” The bandits yelled out in unison. 

The three bandits charged forward and began slaying fire elementals. The fire elementals were confused as to why their masters were suddenly attacking them. They did not understand why these people who asked them to guard this place were suddenly attacking and slaying them. It was then that a chain reaction started. Suddenly, every fire elemental began attacking bandits, and bandits began fighting the elementals. Lexy, who was trying to avenge her poor tail, stopped her rampage as she looked at the scene in front of her. “Uhh…. Why are they suddenly fighting?”

“For Waggy!” Bandit D, who came out of nowhere, yelled out as he rushed towards a fire elemental.

“This… These bandits are good guys!” Lexy was moved to tears. All the bandits were shouting something about getting justice for her poor tail. She realized these bandits were not too bad after all! 

Megalim looked up to see Lexy not killing anymore but cheering and shouting at the bandits for doing a good job. She shook her head, knowing that being around Lexy, strange things would always happen. She thought about the item they had looted and blushed. She was starting to get a little impatient as she wanted later to come now! After finishing her looting, she walked over to Lexy and wrapped her arms around Lexy’s waist. “Should we help them?”

“Mm… Nah, they look like they are having fun.” Lexy leaned into Megalim’s embrace and held her hands that were on her belly as she watched the entertaining show in front of her.

Ten minutes passed, and both bandits and elementals were still going at it. By this time, Lexy was getting bored, so she was now resting her head on Megalim’s lap while having her head patted. It was then that a loud voice echoed through the area. “What is going on here!? Why are you attacking your pets!?”

“They hurt Waggy!” Bandit E yelled out.

“Yeah! They hurt poor Waggy! What did Waggy ever do to them!?” Bandit F joined in.

This was followed up by every other bandit who seems to have fallen into a devilish trance of wanting nothing more than to avenge Waggy! None of them even realized they had actually brainwashed themselves into their current actions.  “Yeah! Yeah! We will avenge Waggy! Death to the elementals!”

“Death to elementals!”

The leader of the bandits, who was standing high above them, was shocked. All The bandits below him seemed to be out of their mind! He looked up and gazed out over the area, his eyes stopping on two figures. “It must be them! If I kill them, my men will go back to normal!”
