“What do you think of this diagram?” Eve asked as she leaned back in her chair. In front of her was a rough draft of a frame for the new truck.

“Isn’t this a bit too big?” Lilly asked as she sat down next to Eve with a cup of coffee.

“You think so? I am building it to be more of a tank. We have enough metal plating for something this size. With the new setup and design, the entire system can be used as a means of defense and offense. Like, look here….” Eve pointed to a spot on the diagram. “This here is an auto turret. It will fire at both raiders and A.I. I plan to use myself as a means of detecting an A.I. With my current body, it will come in handy to pick out those A.I. that are more advanced. I will also be inputting Teez’s data as well. On the sides, we can launch missiles. With the new gravity pulse engine, I believe I can also come up with a way to release that energy to make a bomb or missile. Although I have no idea how dangerous they would be, hence the underground facility.”

Eve paused before pointing to the new engine systems and controls. “The new control system and the engine will also give us more maneuverability in the air and on land. While the current gravity engines only make a car float, the gravity pulse engine will make our new vehicle fly in the air. It will also have an array of sensors as well to detect anything that might be harmful to use from a few miles away in a radius around the vehicle.”

“Eve, you realize the technology that you are talking about is crazy advanced, and if we get caught with it, we will be not only arrested and detained, but everything will be taken from us.” Lilly was worried if they made anything too advanced that, they would lose it all.

“That is why we will install a flip dash as well as make it look like it is a normal truck.” Eve replied. “It will look no different than an oversized hauler. And we will only be going from here to the gate with it. So if someone tried to stop us, we could easily escape because from what I can tell about that gate, they do not have the defenses to stop us if we build this.”

“If you say it will be okay, then I am all for it. To be honest, I really want to build this.” Lilly couldn’t hold back her excitement. Just the idea of creating and making such advanced technology made her want to start work right away.

“We will start soon, but we also need to work on something else first. I had an idea to use gravity technology to create a gravity field around you. Something you can activate at will. I will also use this on our truck as well, but I like to start small then scale up. So we will first create one for Tezz. It will protect her in case she ever falls out of her pocket. Once we get that working, we will scale it up for you. But…  I will need to make sure it works first and will be safe for both you and Tezz. When dealing with gravity, if I am off by even a fraction on the math, I could end up crushing you or even end up creating a black hole that will suck us all in.”  

“A gravity barrier, huh…  You also mentioned a missile that would also do something with gravity. How would that work?”  Lilly asked.

“Well gravity can be used in many different ways. It can compress mass into a single point to where it can rip the fabric of time and face creating a black hole where the laws of physics does not apply. It can be weaker to the point that it can weigh people down or be used to form a barrier to capture and slow things down, making it impossible for an object to hit something. And Lastly, you can counteract gravity and reverse it to make anti gravity. This is generally what the gravity pulse engine does. It basically uses gravity to push and pull on gravity, turning it on and off creating a pulsating effect. I won't go into the finer details as I am still grasping them myself and won’t quite understand until I put it to physical use, but this is the gist of it.

“The two applications of use that I plan to create is your gravity field which will make a gravity zone around the person. It will be like a column of gravity that surrounds a person in a cylinder shape. Only the middle where the person is standing will be safe and outside in the gravity zone you use pure gravity to weigh an object down by thousands of times or however much you wished. 

“The gravity bomb or missile, whichever you want to call it, would act differently. It would be able to do one or the other. It would explode, creating a massive gravity zone where everything is crushed into nothingness, or it could create an antigravity zone causing everything to fly up into the sky. Both would be effective against humans and A.I. depending on the situation.” Eve explained.

“I see... That does sound complex, but the usefulness to either be a weapon of war or a weapon of peace is much better than some of the other weapons out there.” Lilly was actually impressed by Eve’s thinking. Using such a weapon to stop a fight without harming anyone by using an anti gravity missile would be amazing if you are trying to get two sides to work together.

“Well… I was just thinking of how to save as many resources as possible. If we can use an anti gravity missile on an A.I. and keep it floating around in the air without the ability to orient itself, it would make things easier on us. As for the gravity one, it is to crush any and all of those who attack us.” When Eve explained further, all of Lilly’s righteousness about a weapon of war that could bring peace went out the window.
