Reborn As An A.I. With A System
Coding Coding And More Coding
Seconds later, the two figures disappeared as if they were never there in the first place. Down in his apartment, Todd sat on his couch and poured himself another glass of gin. He brought the glass to his lips and sneered. “Once I get what I want. I will smash that little bitch into into peices. Does a wannabe robot really think she can get away after trying to use me?”
While Todd was cursing the mysterious little girl, Eve had Lilly on her shoulders and was currently having a snack. Lilly was helpless as her cries of ecstasy filled the room. Their love-making session went on for almost another hour before Eve let Lilly go. Even then, Lilly still had to cling to Eve as she was completely exhausted.
After a rest and a shower, the two were finally ready to get back to work. “First, let’s work on this diagram here.”
Eve pulled out another diagram she had worked up. It was one that was basically an industrial-sized CNC machine. But this one was made for the laser that the destroyer had equipped and would be used to drill into the ground. Also on this diagram was a smaller diagram that was a handheld device. “The smaller one is the scanner, right?”
“Mhm… I figured you could work on that while I begin construction of the laser drill. I want to get everything ready as soon as possible. So I figured I would split the projects up this time around.” Eve replied. She needed that basement area where she could safely use a test room ready as soon as possible.
“Okay, I will get right on it then. Can you scan that and send it over to the hub for me.” Lilly asked as she went and began turning her pc on. She was full of energy now that she had something to work on.
“It will be over in a second.” Eve quickly scanned the diagram and sent the information over to a data hub they had set up between the two pcs. It made it so the two of them could easily pass information back and forth. After it was on the hub, Eve began working on the 3D design schematics for the laser drill.
“Hmm… A slide bar here… And a rotation here… Or should I just make it move back and forth like this….” Eve mumbled to herself as she worked. After about two hours, she had a full, to-scale 3D model of what she had in mind on her pc. “Lilly, I will be upstairs.”
“Okay.” Lilly did not even look up from her computer as she continued typing and moving her mouse. She was not as quick as Eve, but she was almost done with her design setup and could print out the parts. Luckily she could use her 3D printer to print the parts for the scanner.
Eve went into the warehouse and looked at all the scrap metal that was piled up against the sides of the walls and began looking for parts that seemed like they would work… “This won’t work. Aiu I will need to make another program. Will you help me? It needs to be a 3D program which means we will need to build a whole graphics engine from scratch.”
“I will work on the math API. You work on the graphics,” Aiu replied and quickly booted up Astral Desktop.
Eve found a place to sit on the cold cement floor and began working on the graphics code. It was not her first time making one of these, but it still took a lot of time. With both her and Aiu splitting the work, it would go much faster. “Eve, will this be like M3D, the one you made previously? ”
“Yeah, base your code on that. We can fix any inconsistencies later.” Eve replied without stopping her fingers. Aiu knew how Eve coded like the back of her hand, so it was easy to match the code up with very few errors. Which was why when these two worked on a program together, it was almost flawless and could be pieced together easily. Even the functions Eve was writing at this moment were using math functions that Aiu had yet to write. This was just how much Eve trusted Aiu’s ability to match her code.
The two continued to work without stopping. Eve was so into her work that she didn't even notice when Lilly came up and put a blanket around her shoulders, even though she knew Eve would not catch a cold, she still couldn’t stop herself from bringing her a blanket. When Lilly saw the lines and lines of code Eve was writing, she was truly amazed. She did not dare to bother her and stood to the side to watch.
Lilly only watched Eve work for a few minutes before going downstairs to work on her own project. She had already started the code, and the parts were printing out as she worked. “I will need some sensors… But what kind of sensors would work for this….” Lilly scratched her head and kept coding. She decided to use an array of radar pulses to try to get a more detailed analysis of what was underground.
A few hours later, upstairs, Eve had finished the lower level code of the program she was working on. “Now for the main portion. Aiu, can you work on the UI elements? I will work on the controls.”
“No problem.” Aiu was having fun. She loved working with Eve on projects like this. It reminded her of her days when it was just her and Eve. Sometimes she missed those days. But she was still happy with the current life that they had. She could be with Eve at all times now, which made her really happy.
After another few hours, downstairs, Lilly had fallen asleep at her pc while Eve finally finished her 3D program. She even remade the to-scale model of her laser drill. “All set! Now to write a program that lets us use the information from the model to find parts that will be useful in building the laser drill.”
