Reborn As A Vampire With A System
Space
Fate was frozen in place. Outside the window were not scenes of endless ocean water with waves frosting at their peaks. No, instead of such a peaceful scene, she was met with a blazing sun burning a blueish color. Beyond that was endless darkness with specks of white lights. There was even a small planet not too far off that was visible to the naked eye. “This…. This…. This is fucking cool!”
Fate ran over to the window and looked outside. She marveled at the scene of the sun’s flames swirling around. A bright smile formed on her face. She was now in a much better mood. A new life and a new time. She would live it to its fullest. “Since I have plenty of time to see the sights, I will first get cleaned up and put a pair of clothes on. But before that…”
Fate walked over to the door side panel and looked at the strange letters… “I can’t read it…”

“Ahh!” Fate felt a piercing pain in her head. It did not last long, but it did feel like someone had stabbed her brain. “Why does it always have to hurt?” Fate frowned, but as she raised her head and looked at the strange letters once more, she suddenly understood what they meant. “Oh? Well, I guess the pain was worth it. So this is how you lock the door.”
Fate pressed the button. The once green light turned red, indicating the door was now locked. She dusted her hands off and turned around, walking to the cabinet on the wall. When she opened it, she saw a bunch of familiar looking military style clothing, causing her to frown a bit. “I guess beggars can’t be choosers…”
She took out a pair of green cargo pants and sniffed it. “Seems the boss man of this ship at least kept himself clean.” She then went through the rest, taking out a white tank top, a belt, socks, and a pair of black boots that looked to be way too big.
“Other than the boots, I can at least wear the rest, but… I guess I will have no choice but to make due for now.” With everything set, she looked around until she found a side door. She opened it and nodded to herself as she walked in. The lights turned on, automatically revealing a bathroom that was a bit too extravagant compared to the rest of the ship. “My guess is this boss man must have loved his baths… This bathtub is just…”
A standalone bathtub with a sleek squarish design that looked to be able to fit two people. It really stood out against the backdrop of metal plated walls with pipes and wires all over the place. Shaking her head, Fate placed her clothes to the side and turned the water on. She ran her hand through the crystal clear water waiting for it to get hot before standing back up and dropping the cloth she had wrapped around her body. Her pearly white skin with many splotches of blood came into view. Fate looked at herself in the tall mirror attached to the wall and smiled as she ran her hands down her body.
“Truly not bad. ” Fate bit her lower lip as she slipped her hand between her thighs. “Mmm… yes, not bad at all…”
With a smile, Fate turned around and walked over to the sink to wash some of the blood off her body before she soaked in the tub. After washing up a bit, the bathtub was finally full enough for her to soak. She slipped into the tub and sank all the way down to her neck, resting the back of her head against the water. “This feels amazing…”
With her hand playing between her thighs, Fate's soft moans echoed throughout the bathroom. Luckily the room was soundproof, so nothing leaked out. She stayed in the bathtub until the water started to cool before getting out and drying off. She put the clothes on that were way too big for her and went back into the bedroom and sat on the bed cross legged.
“Let’s see… I will need to have them give me some money at some point so I can buy some proper clothing. If I lean over too far, my little cherries will be in full bloom. Not to mention the boots will flop around on my feet. But besides that, I need to figure out what my next move will be… I guess I should go ask them what planet they are from. They looked to be human, but I guess I could be wrong.”
Fate was unsure of what was to come, but she did not care. For now, she was in a safe place with people who would be more than willing to give her the information she needed. So with this thought in mind, Fate hopped off the bed and left the room. “Miss…”
“Mike, take me to the bridge. I want to talk to you all.” Fate wanted everyone to gather, but since the other two needed to fly the ship, she did not wish to take them away from their stations. Since she was in space, she had no idea what kind of dangers there were. She was landlocked in her previous life. She only knew the run down city and the battlefield and nothing else.
“This way, please.” Mike nodded and began walking down the hall leading Fate to the bridge.
From the living quarters to the bridge, it took ten minutes. This meant that the ship itself was rather big. When Fate arrived on the bridge, she looked at the large window in front of her and the burning sun outside and sighed in admiration. For these guys, these sights might be an everyday thing, but for her, it made her feel how tiny she truly was. “How far are we from the sun?” Fate asked out of curiosity.
“We are about twenty million miles out. The sun itself is a star that is about to collapse. It could be today, tomorrow, or a million years from now, but it is on its way out.” Andy answered as he hit a few switches on the panel in front of him. A holographic screen with a bunch of data appeared in the air. “Once we have made proper preparations, we will be heading to the Lougin Galaxy. There is a system on the outer rim that has a black market where we can sell our goods. Fate, if I may ask, do you plan to stick with us for a while?”
“Oh? Do you want me to stay with you guys? Are you not afraid I will kill you? You have to remember you are what I eat.”
