Legend Of Yuki: The Wrath Of The Tailed Asura
Arena Of Blood Part 3
“Skin, skin, go away, let the blood flow. Skin, skin, go away, let me hear you scream. Skin skin…” Yuki was singing a very disturbing song as she skinned the young man’s face with her sword. She did not care about the blood that was soaking her robes, hands, and feet. The splatters of blood that splashed onto her face and slowly dripped down did not faze her in the slightest. To her, what she was doing was a work of art, a passion, you could say.
She knew in her mind she was definitely broken, but she did not care. She had people who loved her for who she was. Her mind had long become twisted the day she found herself strapped to that table. The feeling of being tied up, unable to move, and undergoing days and nights of nothing but torture had long made her lose the innocence she had when she lived in the village. And after becoming an asura, her mind completely broke.
Yuki traced a finger over the exposed muscle of the young man who had long stopped screaming and could only stare blankly at her. “If you were good, you would have gone to a new sect. If you were good, you would not have come here knowing you would be targeting people from my sect. If you were good, you would have just given me your leg when I asked for it. Now you have no legs. No face. No way of recognizing you at all. Say if I dropped you off to your parents, would they welcome you home?”
Yuki giggled as she poked the young man’s forehead and discreetly sucked out his soul and ate it. As she got up, she patted the bloody mess of his shoulder and said: “Don’t worry, I might be crazy, but I would never do anything like drop your corpse off at your family’s house. That is just evil.”
The entire arena and everyone watching who heard Yuki’s words wanted to strangle her and ask what her idea of evil was! She just cut the young man’s arms and legs off and then peeled his skin off!
“Heavenly Cloud Sect’s disciple, Yuki, wins!” Elder Li was shocked at how violent the little girl was. But he knew to be a cultivator, this kind of violence was needed to protect oneself sometimes, especially for a girl who would one day become the enemy of all sects. Anyone who aims for the top will become a target for those with power. Since gaining too much strength would mean danger for the powerhouses who wish to keep their hold on the power they currently have.
This trip had already put Yuki, Nana, and Silvia on such a list. They were young heroes who were too strong at such a young age. While the elders might not make a move, this did not mean those of the younger generation would not be sent out to deal with a single young girl.
Elder Li looked at the young girl and then at the young man, who lay motionless on the stage and knew he was already dead. “Someone move this body.”
Elder Li waited for the body to be moved before quickly starting the next match, not caring about the pools of blood that covered the stage. “Next up…..”
The matches continued in a more normal fashion. There were no death matches. When Elder Li saw someone about to die, he ended the match. This angered the Roaring Thunder Sect’s sect master to no end. Be he could only sit and chew on his anger. He had no way of actually dealing with the situation.
“Next match! Roaring Thundred Sect’s disciple, Hani, versus Heavenly Cloud Sect’s disciple, Nana!” Elder Li yelled out.
Hani was a young man with a big build. He also used a large axe as a weapon. With no shirt and showing off his huge bronze muscles, he jumped up on stage with a murderous glint in his eyes. He planned to kill Nana to get revenge for his sect mate.
Nana lazily got up on stage. She had been helping Yuki clean up and was indulging in the softness of Yuki’s hair when her name was called. She was a bit angry since she was disturbed, and sensing the killing intent coming from this young man made her want to hurry up and finish this fight quickly. Nana took her large sword off her back and rested it on her shoulder. She could tell that her opponent was not really anything worth mentioning. He looked very slow.
While Nana was strong, she also worked on her ability to be agile and move quickly, or else she could never fight alongside her Yuki. Everything she did was so that she could continue being by Yuki’s side.
“Match start!” Elder Li’s words had just entered the young man’s ears before he suddenly felt the world spinning. His eyes widened when he realized he was looking at his body. Blood spluttered not only from his neck but also from his waist as his torso also spun in the air.
Behind his body was a young girl flicking her sword and walking off the stage. Everything happened so quickly that no one even saw Nana move. Elder Li shook his head as he yelled out: “Winner, Heavenly Clouds Sect’s disciple, Nana!”
Nana quickly made her way back to Yuki and smiled brightly. “Yuki! I rushed over so I could help finish brushing your hair!”
Yuki looked at Nana’s smiling face and gave her a sweet smile. “Thank you, Nana!”
