Legend Of Yuki: The Wrath Of The Tailed Asura
Delia Digs A Hole
“In flame fist, to ignite the spiritual qi, you need to form a solid image of it lighting on fire. This same would go for demonic qi. Like, look.” Yuki covered her hand in lightning. “I can do this because my physique seems to have changed to that of a lightning physique. At least, that is what Master has said. But if I want to create fire, the principle is kind of the same, except we do not draw the flames from within our body but externally.
“And this will be the hardest part. I think we should find a better location farther away from the cave, a place where we can go into seclusion and try to work this out together.” Yuki looked at Nana, Silvia, and Delia, who all nodded at her before looking at Selene, who also nodded.
“I plan to stick with you for a while, so let’s work hard.” Selene was still trying to see if she could put her entire trust in Yuki. Even though she was an outsider, she was not holding back. She was even allowing someone like her to get involved with something that could make others very powerful quickly. If this worked, even mortals and people with crippled dantians might be able to use magi qi. Of course, she would not break the pact they had made. She did not wish to lose what she had now since it was not so bad.
With Selene’s confirmation, the group retreated back through the forest. “Gah, this is taking too long. At this rate, it will be days before we find a decent place. What if I just make a hole in the ground, and we all go down inside it? At least then we can have shelter…”
“Impatient as ever I see.” Yuki smiled and scratched Dela’s ears, causing her to purr.
“Has Delia always been like this?” Nana was very curious about the girl who knew Yuki in her past life. She wanted to know more about Yuki’s other life. But she was afraid to pry too much in case it caused bad memories for Yuki.
“Yeah. But I find it cute. She always pushed the nurses around because she did not like waiting to come see me. I would hear the nurses in the halls yelling at her to slow down. When they arrived at my room, the nurses would have exhausted looks on their faces. I felt bad for them, but at the same time, who could resist a cute girl like Delia?” Yuki smiled just thinking about it.
“Hehe.” Delia giggled. Yuki was always the same to her.
“Delia, I will leave it to you to make us a small abode for a while. We may be in for a long training session.” Yuki hated to admit it, but this was not going to be easy. But if they wished to grow stronger outside the scope of cultivation as well, they would need to do this.
“I will send the bird a message as well, too. Otherwise, she might show up out of nowhere. The damn pigeon seems to have better senses than me.” Delia did not know how the stupid Phoenix was able to find them every time. It was as if she had stuck some kind of tracker on one of the girls.
“Thanks, Delia. I know Master would chew us out if we did not say anything to her.” Yuki had almost forgotten about her own Master. Just thinking of the scolding she would get if she did not show up for a few months made her shiver. It was not that she would get hit, but Elder Nishikawa had a way with words that made you wish you could run away.
“No problem.” Delia waved her hand, creating a white crane out of thin air before whispering to it and then sending it off. “Now that that is out of the way, let’s try the whole digging a base thing, shall we?”
Delia drew her sword, and as she did, the world seemed to become dark. “Oops, wrong weapon….”
Everyone stared blankly at Delia, who knocked her own head with her fists and winked at them while sticking her tongue out. Yuki couldn’t help but sigh. This girl still did this after seeing it once in an anime. But the power she exuded from only slightly drawing her sword out of its sheath about an inch.
“I’ll just use this.” Delia decided to pretend nothing happened. She picked up a rock and casually tossed it at the ground, causing a large hole to appear. The dirt and debris that should have been spat out by the explosion were nowhere to be found. What was revealed to all those present was a hole in the ground with a staircase leading down.
“Uhh…. Delia, what did you just do?” Yuki asked in confusion. She did not get it. Delia had only tossed a small rock, and all of a sudden, a staircase appeared.
“Me? I tossed a rock?” Delia did not understand what was so confusing. What she did just now was normal for her.
“Tossing a rock and making a dungeon….. Delia, are you actually the demon queen and didn’t tell us?” Yuki asked teasingly. Luckily, she did not notice the cold sweat dripping down Delia’s back.
“When you have lived as long as me this is nothing…..”
