Legend Of Yuki: The Wrath Of The Tailed Asura
Kali And Renni Part 2
A few months passed, and Kali saw that Renni’s visits were getting less and less. “How are you feeling today?”
“Hehe… I feel amazing. Kali’s warmth is giving me all the energy I need. Because of you, I have been able to live this long.” Renni replied. Her eyes were filled with love for the girl who was embracing her. Whether Keli knew her feelings or not did not matter. At this moment, she was truly content. “Kali, thank you for being my friend. Thank you for always putting up with my selfishness. Thank you for letting me experience so many things.”
Kali hugged Renni tighter. She did not know what she had done. She has only been able to spend time with her. But Kali also knew that this might be the last time she ever got to see Renni again. She knew Renni’s health had been failing. Even today, the nurse had tears in her eyes as she rolled Renni into the room in a wheelchair.
Kali caressed Renni’s head as she whispered softly: “If there is a next life. Let’s meet again. We can be friends once more and do everything together again. We can play games. Go watch movies. See the sights of the world. We can do everything that we wished we could do not in our next lives.”
“Mmm…. I promise. I will meet you again. No matter what. No matter how long I must wait. I will wait for you to appear before me again….”
That night, after going back to her room, Renni closed her eyes for the last time. Kali did not hear about Renni’s passing for four days. She had thought this was the case but she still held hope. But when the nurse finally found the courage to tell her the truth, Kali was hit hard. It was also at this moment that her health began to tumble. Renni truly was her sun. She was the ray of light that kept her wanting to live. She had spent every waking moment of her life in this bed with a scant few trips outside. She had never seen past the hospital garden unless you count the view from her window. But even those trips became fewer and fewer and now….
Kali knew her hand was being held by her mother. She knew she had given her family one hell of a burden, but even still, as she said goodbye to her family just before she passed, the image of the young girl who smiled brightly at her every time she visited appeared in her mind. Her dear Renni….

“RENNI!” Yuki’s wail, full of sorrow, filled the sky as she embraced Delia as tight as she could. Her Renni!
Renni had tears in her eyes as she rubbed Yuki’s back. She was sure her death hit Yuki hard. But when she first came to this world so many many years ago. So long that she had long forgotten when she had arrived. She had become a small white tiger. She was not even human. She only had her instincts to follow. Bloodshed had come second nature to her. While she still remembered her past life, her strong urge to kill took over. Her mind began to submit to her primal instincts. But the one memory she held the most was her time with Yuki in the hospital.
When she ascended to become a god beast and took on human form she continued to grow stronger and stronger with the hope of being able to one day find the one she once loved. The promise she made that day she held dear all this time. When she suddenly had a dream of Yuki being in this world, she took it as a sign and began her search. She was not fully sure until they had finally met that she was looking at her Kali. Yuki’s mannerisms never changed, even after her rebirth. Although she seemed to have gone through a lot before they could meet up, the Kali she knew was still there. The kindness that Yuki had was the same kindness that Kali had. Tolerant and willing to put up with her whims.
Her Kali…. No, now it was her Yuki that she held dear. The girl she had made a promise to was now in her arms. “We were able to keep our promise.”
“Mmm…” Yuki nodded her head. She did not wish to let go of Delia at this time.
Selene, Silvia, and Nana all looked at the two girls in confusion. While they were very curious as to what was going on. They were tactful enough to know that now was not the time to ask. They moved far enough away to give them the space that they needed.
Selene ears perked up as she suddenly smelled a strong sense of danger. “We need to leave.”
“Hmmm? Why?” Silvia asked.
“She’s right. There seems to be a mass horde of demonic beast coming this way.” Nana stood up and rushed over to Yuki but stopped dead in her tracks when Delia turned to face her.
Delia smiled softly and shook her head while sending a voice transmission to Nana. “Don’t worry. They will not attack us. Just watch the show of the scum who dares to harm your people.”
Nana did not seem to understand, but since Delia said so, she backed up and explained the situation to the other two. “She said watch the show….”
“We should still stay on guard.” Selene was still not willing to trust everyone just yet. She liked Yuki since she could fight with her to her heart’s content. But that did not mean she trusted them fully.
“Yeah. Let’s not let our guard down just yet.” Silvia was always the cautious type to begin with. It was a habit of her career as an assassin.
“Ah…. I think I understand what show we are supposed to be watching.” Nana pointed at the bear-type demonic beast that had just walked out of the tree line. It ignored them all and walked right over to the naked woman on the ground. With its large paws, it picked her up and propped her onto its hardened member. All three girls cringed and looked away. This was not the show that they were wanting to see.
