Legend Of Yuki: The Wrath Of The Tailed Asura
My Little Asura
Yuki sat in the hot bath leaning up against Sei’s chest, which had ample cushion for her head, and felt very relaxed. She felt like she was bathing with her mother. The scent was almost the same. She wondered if Sei’s bloodline was strong in her mother as well. She did not know for sure but she knew one thing. Sei was family. It was instinctual.
After a hot bath, Sei gave Yuki a new set of robes to wear. “These robes are something I created myself using alchemy. They are made from the shell of a baby black tortoise. A mythical beast from a time forgotten. Of course, I did not kill it. It was given to me by its mother, who thanked me for saving the little guy’s life. But even the black tortoise baby was bigger than myself. It is soft yet strong. Unless you are a peak Heavenly Sea cultivator, you can not cut through it. Although it will not stop strong impacts, so be careful.”
Yuki looked at the black robe that seemed to shimmer like stars under the light and smiled. It was soft and warm at the same time. “Thank you.”
“This is nothing. I would not be giving you this if you were not my kin. Anything that can allow you to live a little longer is best, but remember this will only protect you from sword attacks. Qi attacks and mental attacks are not blocked. Strong impacts can still affect your organs. But at least now you will not need to worry about being run through.” Sei scratched Yuki’s ears, causing her to smile.
“As for the rest of my inheritance. There are two things. One is the cultivation method that will allow you to reach the god realm. From what I can tell by looking at you, you have been using the watered-down version. I will now impart onto you the true cultivation method of the celestial fox clan. It’s called the Sea of Dreams.” With a tap of her finger, Sei sent the cultivation method into Yuki’s mind.
Yuki felt her mind being filled with new information. She could tell the similarity between the old cultivation method within the Sea of Dreams cultivation method. It was just the way it was done and the circulation method.
“I know you wish to grow powerful quickly be always remember to take it one step at a time. Gain strength before facing stronger foes. You now have a bit of understanding of who might be the ones who had destroyed our village and captured our people. But this does not mean you should throw your life away.
“From the story, you told me, you are their hope. The hope that will help their clan and get revenge for what they have done. Those that came after me limited the cultivation of the clan because they knew that those who did cultivate, if caught, would end up being tormented for hundreds or even thousands of years. But as they are also my kin, as are you, I ask….” Sei’s voice grew low and was suddenly filled with blood lust and pure killing intent. “Slaughter, those bastards to the very last one. Wipe out their bloodlines to the very last of their kin. Get revenge for all your brothers and sisters of the celestial fox clan. If I could come to the mortal world, I would but travel is forbidden to the lower planes.”
Yuki’s eyes blazed with fire as she nodded her head firmly. “I will get revenge no matter what. This, I promise.”
“Good girl.” Sei rubbed Yuki’s head once more before reaching up with her hand. A golden ball of light formed and spun quietly on the tip of her index finger. “From this moment on, I will no longer be able to keep up this sliver of consciousness. I exerted quite a bit of power to form this corporeal body. But I did so because you are my kin. All my knowledge from the time I lived in the mortal realm is contained within. It even has my learnings of alchemy, talismans, and many other skills I learned through the years. It also has my memories of the battles I went through. These will all be handy as you can take and learn what I learned and mix it with your own style. The movement technique that you are using is one of the best I have ever seen. Maybe you can even improve upon it and advance it to another level.”
Yuki’s mind once more flooded with memories. Battles, sad times, good times. All of them were Sei’s experiences within the mortal realm. There were also a few memories that made Yuki blush. It seemed her ancestor also liked girls…. As the wave after wave of information filled her mind. Yuki now had a decent understanding of many of the trades within the mortal world. Whether she could put them to practice or not was another story.
“Yuki, my cute little asura….” Sei’s voice was a lot fainter now.
Yuki opened her eyes to see Sei’s body was now transparent. Her eyes began to water up as she looked at Sei. “Must you go?”
“Mmm… Don’t cry. We will meet again. Remember, you are now my first and last disciple. The way of the asura should no longer be passed down after you, so keep our way to yourself and never pass it on. Remember, strength in our world is the only thing that talks. Never let anyone look down on you. If you can not win, run. Your life is important. But do not let them think you are running forever. Grow in strength and then cut off their heads. My time has come. I wish you good luck, my little asura. Until we meet again….”
