Legend Of Yuki: The Wrath Of The Tailed Asura
Placements Part 1
Elder Nishikawa let out a relieved sigh. She looked at the sect master and said: “I owe you one. I will speak to the brat later about letting her aura out. I will have to ask you to wipe those disciples she sent out, memories.”
“I will do it now.” The sect master was actually very happy. To get a favor from Elder Nishkawa was basically getting a free life.
Inside the mystic realm, Yuki stood there with pursed lips. “No blood….” She did not feel satisfied. Her sword was screaming for blood. She did not feel content with her kills due to the lack of feeling. There was no penetration of the flesh. No smell of iron from the blood that splattered out. She felt empty.
Fatty, Ami, and Ai all stared at Yuki with their mouths wide open. The girl in front of them seemed to be like the goddess of death. Just now, her entire being seemed to have changed to that of a grim reaper who had come to take all lives.
Only Nana smiled as she hopped over to Yuki and hugged her. “My Yuki has grown stronger!”
“Mmm….” Yuki smiled and buried her face into Nana’s two modest mounds while wrapping her arms around her slim waist. The empty feeling was now gone and filled with her lover’s warmth. It was calming and soothed her soul.
Days passed quickly, and the test ended when only one hundred disciples remained in the mystic realm. Yuki and Nana, along with all the other disciples left, were teleported out of the mystic realm. “You all did very well! I hope everyone here learned from this experience and, when you go into the open world, will be more wary of your surroundings. Now we will decide placements by the number of flags the top 0ne hundred have. Everyone line up and place your flags down.”
A board was put up, and every time someone turned in their flags, they would have their names written on the board, and beside their name, the number of flags they turned in would appear.
Originally the top one hundred with the most flags were supposed to be in the main tournament. But this changed when there were only one hundred people left. So even those with only one or two flags ended up passing. This was mainly due to pure luck, and their true fighting prowess would see be exposed once they stood on the battle stage.
“Oh? Someone with two hundred….. Isn’t that Maiko!?” Ai was stunned as she saw the girl standing up on stage. She had over one hundred flags, the most yet. This put her in first place.
“Hehe, did you think she was just slacking off? I have been helping her train, you know!” Fatty was very proud seeing Maiko taking first place. He felt bad since he could not find her in the mystic realm. He had to ask how she did on her own and ask her where she ended up.
“Fatty, who was it that needed Yuki to save him after he angered thirty some odd people? Don’t stand so proudly until you can do what Yuki can do.” Ami snorted. She had to make sure Fatty remembered that he had caused trouble and had to be saved by a girl.
Fatty blushed and rubbed his nose. “What can this Fat man do if he needs a beauty to save the hero?”
“Haha!” Yuki found Fatty to be funny. He was as shameless as ever but not in the bad way that would put a girl off. She could understand why Maiko had fallen for him. Nana pursed her lips and tactfully stood in Yuki’s line of sight to Fatty, causing Yuki to giggle even more. She liked her jealous little dragon girl.
Yuki and her group stood at the back so they would get to go up last. Maiko had spotted them when she went on the stage to show her flags. She walked over and stepped on Fatty’s foot. “Ahh! Maiko, are you trying to kill your husband!?”
“Who’s my husband!? You didn’t even search for me in the mystic realm!” Maiko was hoping Fatty would come find her, but she ended up running into all these idiots so she had no choice but to take them out.
“You can’t get mad at him. He was chased for days by other disciples, and when he finally did get free, we looked all over while looking for flags but could not find you.” Ai felt slightly bad, so she tried to smooth things over for Fatty. He did get chased by people. And even if it is his own fault, it was not fair for Fatty to get yelled at for no reason.
Maiko did not care what Ai said. She still stepped on Fatty’s foot a few more times until he begged for mercy. While the others found it amusing, Fatty was crying inside since his dignity seemed to be slipping away. He wondered if this was what happened to men when they had to please their girls. Sadly he did not have male friends in relationships he could ask, so he was stuck learning things on his own.
As the group was horsing around, the line was quickly shrinking. Maiko’s first place had been overtaken by a young man named Ganju. He had over six hundred flags. Yuki had been watching the reactions of the other disciples as the numbers were announced and found there were many hateful gazes being directed at the young man. But she also felt something was off with the young man as well. She leaned into Nana’s embrace and whispered: “Careful of that Ganju person. He seems strange.”
