*Boom!*

A ninth lightning strike fell on top of both Yuki and Delia. Delia’s skin had become charred, but she did not show any sign of pain at all. She just continued to rest her hand on Yuki’s abdomen and circulated her own qi inside Yuki. Her lips slowly curled up into a bright smile as she said: “It’s done….”

“Master….” A black figure appeared next to Delia.

“Leave. My wife will take care of me.”

“But….” The black figure wondered would this fox girl really help its master?

“Don’t make me repeat myself!” Delia’s voice turned cold as she turned around and looked at the black figure. The black figure almost turned white due to being scared straight. It quickly bowed its head and disappeared.

“I did it….” Yuki slowly opened her eyes. Inside her body was now a vortex, a black and white vortex that was currently spinning in a slow motion, sucking in both demonic qi and spiritual qi on its own. It was almost as if she was cultivating on autopilot. 

“Yes, you did…. Congratulations. Also….” Delia swayed slightly. “You have gained a primordial core, and your physique is now a Chaotic Lightning Body. These tribulations should no longer hinder your pa….” 

Delia’s body swayed more and fell onto Yuki’s shoulder. Yuki looked at the young woman who was charred all over and then at herself and realized that this young woman had protected her! “You!? Why!?” Yuki never thought a complete stranger would put themselves in harm’s way like this!

 “Yuki!” Nana came flying over as the clouds above began to dissipate. She looked at Delia, who happened to crack an eye open at the time before quickly shutting it and sighed. She did not know what tricks this woman was going to pull, but she had to admit she had really saved Yuki this time. She would just make sure her Yuki was not being harmed in any way.

“Nana! Silvia! This…. Do you know who this is?” Yuki asked as she tried to feed Delia some qi pills to try to heal her. 

“That is Delia. She came to help you. She said something about wanting to speak with you.” Nana was not going to say everything that Delia said, but she would help Delia out if Delia was willing to help protect her Yuki.

“I see. So this is Delia….” Yuki smiled and gently stroked the top of Delia’s head. “I owe her my life.”

“She had taken the full brunt of the tribulation lightning,” Silvia said. “If not for her, I am afraid….” 

    “I know…. I also was not expecting more black lightning to fall. But from her words just now, I will not need to worry about that anymore. But her act alone means that I owe her my life. “I…. I feel pain throughout my whole body. But it is worth it if you were able to pull through.” Delia replied ‘weakly’.

“I have a way to help you heal. It is just that it might, ummm… be a little intense in many ways. If you are willing, I can help you heal using one of the pools by transforming the spiritual qi into demonic qi.” Yuki asked as she stopped in front of a myriad pool that was not too dense in spiritual qi but enough that it should help her heal Delia.

“If you are willing. I do not mind.” Delia replied, trying to hide her joy.

Nana and Silvia, who were watching from behind, just rolled their eyes. They knew this girl was basically pulling on Yuki’s heartstrings, but they both had the same idea as well. They hoped Delia would become the third.

“Then I will bring you into the pool.”
