Remember To Win

Rin won her match but only because she ended up using all her trump cards. Yue could only sigh in defeat but she was not mad at her loss. She knew she would need to train harder if she wished to beat Rin now. “Good fight! Let’s do it again in a few years but as Inner sect disciples.”

Rin smiled and nodded. “Its a deal.”

Rin still had one more fight to go through before she would meet Yuki. Takeichi also won his fights and was one fight away from fighting Nana. He really did not want to fight Nana. He knew her strength was greater than his. If she even got a single hit on him he was out.

After one more battle which Rin easily won, as did Takeichi, it was finally time for the semi finals. The sect master smiled as he walked up onto the main stage. It stood higher than the others and was for the semi finals and finals only. With his hands behind his back, he began to speak. “We have seen many amazing fights today. But now this tournament is drawing to a close. First up in the semi finals, will be Disciple Rin and Disciple Yuki. Both of you please come to the stage.”

Yuki pursed her lips as she slowly got up. She was quite comfortable in Nana’s embrace. She turned and gave Nana a kiss before finally fully standing up. “I will be back.”

“Mmm… remember to win.” Nana wanted to make sure Yuki remembered that she had to win no matter what.

“Never planned on losing anyway,” Yuki replied with a smile. This caused Nana to smile as well.

Yuki walked up the stage and stood there stretching her arms. She still had blood all over her but at least it was semi gone from her face thanks to Nana trying to wipe it off. Sadly there was no were to wash up around here so she had to wait to go home to shower.

“Now then….” Yuki looked at Rin who had just walked up and smile. “Senior Sister Rin, Master said I had to beat you up.”

“I knew it!” Rin gritted her teeth. Just because she had not been around, Elder Nishikawa got cranky! She sighed and said: “Please go easy on me. But do not hold back or you will be the one to be beaten.”

“Okay!” Yuki smiled as she hopped up and down a few times and cracked her neck. She was loosening her muscles. The sect master saw that both of them were ready so he shouted: “Begin!”

Yuki disappeared on the spot. Rin knew Yuki was a speed type and did not hesitate to use her stone spikes for defense. Sadly for her, this was nothing for Yuki as she taped her foot off the air and used the spikes as a means of propelling herself forward.

“Gah! Why!” Rin wanted to cry. She had not even gotten a chance to make a proper move yet and she was already on full defense. With no other option, Rin shielded herself in a dome before sinking into the ground. As soon as she entered the ground she felt the ground shake.

Above ground, Yuki slammed her foot down onto the dome causing the whole grand to shake. With the combination of her spiritual qi and demonic qi her strength jumped to double what it normally was. The stone dome quickly shattered into pieces as Yuki stopped herself from falling and stood above the opening. She wished she could use her demonic qi outside her body so she could be even stronger but she was unable to do that at this time.

“Now where is she?” Yuki frowned. She had watched Rin’s match and knew Rin could go underground but she did not know how long she could stay hidden for.  Yuki could only stand in the air and wait. As soon as she heard the sound of the ground cracking she would attack.

“What’s going on?” one of the disciples asked. At this time all they saw was, Yuki standing in the air, while Rin was nowhere to be seen.

“I have no idea…. Senior Brother, do you know?” Another disciple decided to ask his senior brother who was an inner sect disciple.

“The girl who has the ground movement technique is staying in hiding while the other girl is standing in the air. But I can say this for sure, the girl in the air is strong. That stone dome was filled with spiritual qi. It’s an earth type technique that uses your spiritual qi to manipulate the earth underfoot. For her to be able to break it so easily means she is not weak at all. Although she is beautiful she is really a freak.” The male inner sect disciple shivered thinking about the bloody scene from before.

“So who do you think will win?” Another disciple asked.

“The girl in the air.” The male inner sect disciple replied.

Back on stage, Yuki wrinkled her nose. She hated these cat and mouse type games. She took a deep breath and began hopping up into the air. She went high into the sky causing many onlookers to be very confused as to what she was doing. But seconds later they were met with a crazy scene.

Yuki gathered her strength into her legs and let her foothold disappear. She dropped like a comment flying down from the sky, feet first. The sect master who was at the edge of the stage watching the match, face turned grim. “Why must she destroy the stage!” He did not wish to waist more spiritual qi to fix things!”

Everyone watched as Yuki slammed into the ground causing a loud explosion., the entire stage burst into millions of pieces and flew out in all directions. This also included a certain girl who was trying to plan her next move. Never would she have ever imagined she would be ejected out of her hiding spot in such a way!
