Legend Of Yuki: The Wrath Of The Tailed Asura
Someone Cursing Yuki
In another location, the old man whom Yuki had just been fighting suddenly appeared in a dark room. “Fucking bitch!” The old man’s face was pale. The golden lightning in his body was rampaging through his meridians.
“Oh? You dare shout in front of me?” Kuro asked as he dusted off the chair next to him and sat down. He looked at the old man, who seemed to be on his last leg. “What happened to the thing I tasked you to do?”
“Master….” The old man shivered in fear. “I was close to summoning the dark lord like you asked, but that bitch suddenly showed up and began killing every…. AHHHH!”
“Don’t call her a bitch.” Kuro’s eyes were cold as he stared at the old man. “My little fox is no bitch. If she wants to punch you, let her. If she wants to kill you, let her. I already gave you so much time to complete the task at hand, but you couldn’t even handle a simple thing like summoning a demon.”
“But Master, that little bi….. girl….” The old man quickly changed how he referred to Yuki when Kuro’s eyes fell on him once more. “That girl ruined my plan. I only needed to kill all the demonic cultivators I gathered, and it would have been complete. I would have finished in two days! She is also a….”
“Stop…” Kuro interrupted the old man. “You are not to mention anything about my little fox, do you understand?”
The old man quickly nodded his head. Kuro smiled, causing the old man to feel a chill run down his spine. He watched as Kuro reached out his hand and flipped it over, revealing a black worm with blood-red eyes. “I will get rid of the heavenly lightning inside you since I have another task for you. I will also give you this little one here to serve as a warning. You even speak about anything you saw in that village concerning my Little Fox, and I will have this little guy eat your brain slowly so that you will either bash open your own skull or go insane from the pain.”
The old man shivered. Beads of sweat ran down his face. He found he could not move at all and could only watch in horror as the worm slipped up his nose and began crawling up toward his brain! “Hmm, good. This little guy is called a soul worm. It has a sliver of my soul in it and will allow me to know what you are saying and thinking at all times. I only need a thought to allow it to begin eating your brain. I will not stop you from trying to get revenge on my little fox, but any information about her is to be kept a secret, understood?”
The old man quickly nodded. He was not stupid. He would never speak a word about Yuki’s abilities. He did not want to die! Seeing that the old man was being obedient, Kuro smiled as he said: “Good. Now, I want you to go to the Roaring Thunder Sect and help them strengthen a few disciples. If you do a good job, I might just help you break through. Just remember what I said.”
After Kuro finished speaking, he turned into a red mist and disappeared from the room. When he reappeared once again, he was standing on a treetop, lost in thought. “Little fox, your powers have really grown. I wonder when you will be ripe for the picking….”
“Ahhh Chooo!” Yuki rubbed her nose, smearing blood all over her face. She looked around and frowned slightly. “No one there…”
“Yuki?” Nana looked at Yuki with a worried expression.
“It’s nothing. Someone must be cursing me.” Yuki replied. “Must be that old man. Let’s go find a place to clean up.”
“Okay….” Nana still felt worried, but since Yuki seemed to be fine, she decided to put her worries aside.
“You two did very well….” Haruhi suddenly landed next to them. “You picked out every demonic cultivator and wiped them out.”
“It’s not over yet.” Yuki suddenly said. “Just because I finished the task does not mean my job is over with. The people here who are innocent are far few. The town is not safe for them. They will need to find a new place to live, and since their cultivation is low, they might end up killed on the way. So we will escort them to another town after they have gathered their stuff. Nana has already issued the order.”
“Oh?” Haruhi was quite surprised but also nodded in approval. She would have done the same. But most disciples would just finish the mission and ignore those who were left behind. “Very good! West of here is another village. They will take in any refugees. They have a pact with the sect, so they will gladly take in some people for us.”
“Alright. Let me go wash up, or else I might scare them together.” Yuki did not mind being covered in blood, but she knew others would be scared to death if they saw her, so she decided to get cleaned up.
“I will help get the refugees in order so we can leave as soon as you are ready.” Haruhi really liked these two junior sisters of hers.
“Thank you, Senior Sister.” Yuki smiled before quickly setting off to find a place to bathe.
