Legend Of Yuki: The Wrath Of The Tailed Asura
The Asura’s True Awakening Part 1
“Ahh!” Fatty was tossed back like a kite caught in the wind. His arms shattered due to the impact of the attack just now.
“No!” Maiko’s only focus was Fatty. She only turned to look away for a mere second before being struck in the side by a kick coated in spiritual qi. Her body bent unnaturally as she was flung out as well.
“Damn it! Our cultivations are just….” Ami had tears in her eyes. She could feel her end coming soon. Her entire body was already riddled with wounds. Takeichi and Rin were fighting to the side against five others while they were trying their best to stop anyone from getting through, but it was impossible. They were easily counted by a single universal core disciple. The cultivation difference was just too much.
“I commend you for being able to last this long, but sadly, this is where your lives end. You can only blame yourselves for being part of the Heavenly Cloud Sect.” A young man with a large sword stepped forward with a mocking smile on his face. “It’s too bad. You girls are all so pretty, but we are told to kill all of you. This means I can’t take any of you back to warm my bed.”
“I would rather die.” Ai struggled to stand up. Her left arm was hanging to the side, and her right leg had a deep gash in it and was spilling blood.
“I can promise you that you will die.” The young man replied as he raised his sword and swung it down without any hesitation. Ai watched as the sword swung down at Ami’s head in horror. She used every ounce of her strength that she had left and rushed to Ami’s side. She would not let her lover die here!
*Splash!*
Blood rose into the air. Ami’s hands trembled as she felt the body on top of hers. “Ai? Ai!? Why!?”
“Oh, how cute. She sacrificed herself for her friend.” The young man chuckled as he raised his sword once more and swung down. He had no plans on letting any of them live a second longer. But just as his sword was about to slice through Ai’s body and into Ami, a hand clad in scales caused the blade and held it firmly. “You!? Who are you!?”
The girl with long black hair looked up at the young man and then at the two girls on the ground, and killing intent suddenly flooded out of her body. “You come to my home….. You come to the only place I have left to return to. You hurt my friends and destroyed my home. And you want to know who I am?”
A scaled tale slapped the ground, causing it to shatter into pieces. “You can die.”
The young man had no time to react before his body was bisected at the waist. His intestines, which no longer had anything to hold them in, spilled out all over the ground while the young man stared at the young woman who had hatred in her eyes. Her piercing eyes that seemed to look straight through him as if she could see his soul.
“Oh, don’t think about reincarnating because…. Your soul is mine.” A fox girl with multiple tails suddenly appeared at the young woman’s side. A crimson aura surrounded her body as she leaned down and stabbed into the young man’s head with her hand and plucked out the soul from within.
“You are awfully calm.” A wolf girl arrived shortly after and looked at the fox girl.
“Calm? I have never been so angry. Selene, help kill the ones following the disciples who are trying to run with Nana and Silvia. I need to clean up the mess here and find Master.” Yuki’s eyes were now bloody red. They glowed every so slightly, and two reddish bumps had formed next to her white furry ears. “Today, I will reap the souls of every sect on this continent that helped today. I will not stop until this entire continent is painted in their blood. It seems they have forgotten the horrors of the past and need a reminder that once an asura emerges, the only thing that follows is an ocean of blood.”
Selene was about to ask what Yuki meant but before she could, the fox girl disappeared. She turned and looked at Nana, who had a scared look on her face and was backing away. “Nana?”
“We need to do as Yuki said and do it now! Help me grab Fatty and the rest and quickly!” Nana replied without explanation. She did not know why, but she felt what Yuki was about to do was something that did not distinguish friend from foe.
Nana had a good right to be scared. Yuki had appeared in the middle of the mass of enemy disciples, covered in a crimson-red aura that looked as if blood was flowing around her. “Dear guests. I am sorry for keeping you waiting. I will not entertain you all with a proper greeting.”
Her voice was not loud, but every one of the enemy's disciples stopped what they were doing and turned to look at her. They did not know why, but they could not take their eyes off the fox girl. They watched as two bloody red horns slowly grew on top of her head. Her white hair slowly turned a bloody red from the tips of her ears all the way down to the tips of her tails.
Only one enemy disciple had the nerve to ask: “Who are you!?”
“Your worst nightmare….” Yuki’s words echoed through the air, but it was so low it sounded like a whisper. At the same time, with no spiritual fluctuation or even a single sound, thin strands of her crimson red aura shot out in all directions.
