Legend Of Yuki: The Wrath Of The Tailed Asura
The Need To Get Stronger
Yuki slowly opened her eyes. She felt like her body had been run over by a truck. But when she saw the sleeping faces of her two most beloved, she smiled warmly before closing her eyes again. It was not bad to sleep a little longer.
A few hours later, Yuki woke up once more to see Nana and Silvia were awake and snuggling into her neck. Both holding her hand gently. “Good morning…”
“Yuki!” Both girls sprang up and yelled out at the same time. Seeing Yuki had finally woken up, they were very happy!
“How was it? Did the old man die?” Yuki asked curiously. She really hoped the old man died after she passed out.
“He got away,” Silvia explained about the teleportation scroll, causing Yuki to snort.
“He’s like a cockroach!” Yuki hated the fact that the old bastard got away like he did. “I need to get stronger….”
“We can when we go to the myriad pools,” Nana said with determination in her eyes. “If we cultivate inside the pools, we will be able to speed up our cultivation by hundreds of times. Especially if we pick the pools with the most condensed spiritual qi.”
“Right, if we do it that way, we can actually purify the spiritual qi by a lot, and the burden will be shared by all of us.” Yuki felt like this was a great idea. “If we can get into the divine star realm, we will not need to worry about much, but I know that is wishful thinking…. Let’s aim for the universal core realm. If we break through to that, we will be strong enough to roam the lands without much issue.”
Just to reach the divine star realm, they would need to first reach the universal core realm after reaching the twelfth astral star. From there, she would need to create six universal cores. Only after creating the six cores and compressing them as much as possible would she then shatter all her hard work to create her heavenly sea. A heavenly sea realm consists of three stages. The first stage is called calm waters. At this point, your sea is still made of spiritual qi. To reach the second stage, which is called the turbulent water stage, you need to convert your spiritual qi into heavenly qi. This was a slow process. And could take hundreds of years. Finally, the third stage was the starlight stage, where you begin forming your divine star. Only after passing through the divine star stage could she make her way to the next plane.
“We can try. I am still at the first astral star….” Nana knew Yuki’s cultivation increased after she had created her technique. But she had not had the chance to cultivate past the first astral star.
“Remember, our dual cultivation technique boosts the cultivation of the one with the lowest cultivation to quickly catch up.” Yuki gave Nana a reassuring smile. She knew Nana was bothered by the cultivation difference between them. But even if they had different cultivation, she had never once thought of leaving Nana or Silvia behind.
“Okay….” Nana nodded, feeling a bit better.
Silvia smiled and realized soon they would all be the same cultivation. But she did not care. The stronger they all were, the better the chances of their survival. She, who had never cared too much about anything but her job as an assassin and completing her mission, had found something she wished to protect. Nana and Yuki were now her home. Her place to return to. She wished to protect them both.
Two more days passed, and the girls were now standing in front of a bluish transparent barrier. “You are here. I heard about what happened, and I am sorry our security measures did not seem to be as good as I thought they were.” Elder Li bowed his head to the girls. Normally, an elder would never bow their heads to a junior, but he knew it was on his Holyland in failing to protect those whom he wanted to protect.
“Please raise her head, Elder Li. It is mainly my fault for rushing out into the forest.” Yuki quickly moved forward to help Elder Li up. She was the one at fault here since she left the protection of the array that covered the area where she was supposed to be at the time. The Roaring Thunder Sect’s sect master would never have had a chance to attack her if she had not chased after Selene. But at the same time, she was kind of glad she did since she seemed to have met a new friend. Or at least someone she hoped she could be friends with.
“I still wish to apologize.” Elder Li lifted his head. He had to admit that Yuki was a good kid. Violent and bloodthirsty, but good to those who were good to her. She would definitely go far in the future.
“Now then.” Clearing his throat, Elder Li looked at the barrier behind him. “I will now open a passage into the myriad pools. Please do not go into any pools that are too condensed with spiritual qi, or you may just end up breaking your meridians. You will have one month’s time inside. You will hear a bell when your time is up. Get ready to enter. I can only hold the passage open for a few seconds.”
