One night passed since the Dragon Sect’s sect master gave his order. Inside the main gathering room of the Celestial Heaven Sect, an old man with a long beard expression was not good. “You mean every one of our businesses across the continent has been burnt to the ground!?” 

“Sect master, we confirmed it. Even our hidden businesses were hit. Every shop all out our merchandise has been destroyed, and on top of that, our disciples keep getting beaten by members of the Dragon Sect.” The elder of the Celestial Heaven Sect replied. He had sweat trickling down his back as he looked at his sect master.

“Damn it! That bastard actually picked the perfect time! Call back all the disciples who were going to the other continent. Call them all back. We can not waste our resources at this time on some lower continent.” The Celestial Heaven Sect’s sect master gritted his teeth. He hated when people looked down on his sect, and it seemed that the mystic race were the ones who were always in his way. 

“Sect master, will we be going after the Dragon Sect?” The elder asked, his eyes a little excited. The dragon sect’s sect master’s blood could be used to make a godly tonic to raise their cultivations.

“Why else do you think I am calling everyone back!? Stop being stupid, and do not get any funny ideas. Hurry up and gather all the elders. We need to make a plan to retaliate.” The Celestial Heaven Sect’s sect master ordered. He wondered why this elder thought he would get anything. Any tonic that was top-tier would be for him and him only.

“I will do it now.”

The flames of war had already been sparked. The Celestial Heaven Sect had been dealt a huge blow, but that would not stop them from starting their counterattack. The Dragon Sect’s sect leader listened to the report and smiled. “Good. Since they called their disciples and elders back, let’s begin phase two. Kill all members of the Celestial Heaven Sect as soon as you see them. No need to hold back. Kill and take everything they own. We will give rewards based on how many heads the disciples bring back. They will be rewarded based on the disciple they killed’s rank.” 

“Sect master…. We also found an anomaly in the Forbidden Mountains near Gray Town. Should we invest…”

“There is no need for that since I sent them there.” An old voice came out of the void. The elder who had been speaking, as well as the sect master of the Dragon sect, both went on guard.

“Who-who are you!?” The Dragon Sect’s sect master called out, only to see an old man appear out of thin air. The pressure he gave off told the Dragonkin that the old man’s power was beyond his imagination.

    “You only need to know that I am a friend of the little fox. I came here to ask you to send some disciples to protect the outskirts of the forbidden forest. I suggest those in the heavenly Sea to go. The people who I sent there are friends of the little fox, from the Heavenly Cloud Sect. So, I do not wish any harm to come to them. They are currently working to grab a foothold on this continent, so give them the forbidden mountains. Your lack of ability to handle the one sect that has been targeting the mystic races is the result of them having to flee here. So you have a duty to deal with it and protect them. Plus, your disciple is also there. She is the dao partner of my little friend.” The old man walked over and took a seat.  “I do hope you will comply.”

“That is fine. If that girl Nana is there, then I will do what I can to help them. The Forbidden Mountains have been our territory for a long time and have just been sitting there, so if they wish to rebuild there, that is fine. They will be under my Dragon Sect’s protection.” The Dragon Sect’s sect master replied. He did not hesitate in the slightest to hand over this area to the Heavenly Cloud Sect.

“Then I have to thank you. By doing this you are helping the little fox and your own personal disciple. I will take my leave. Just remember, though, if you go against your words, this realm might not be able to handle the wrath of the little fox. She is much stronger than you think.” The old man gave a small smile before disappearing into thin air just as he had come.

“Sect master….” The Dragon Sect’s elder’s body shook in fear. He had never felt such a strong pressure before.

“It seems the mortal realm is about to start a new age. Hahaha! Great! I have been waiting for this time. Our Dragon Sect will do everything we can to help the Heavenly Cloud Sect. It seems it is time for a new sect to take the lead. Get some of our core disciples to do as our visitor has asked. Also, send an elder as an envoy to explain things. We will form strong ties with the Heavenly Cloud Sect. From this day forth we will work with the Heavenly Cloud Sect to help them rise to the top of the mainland!”
