Yuko’s father’s expression was not any better. He looked at the old man sitting in the chair next to him in silence and wondered how their patriarch was going to handle it. In hopes of egging his father on to get revenge, he said, “Father, we can not let this slide.”

“You are right. We will deal with Elder Shoji’s family first. Your second brother will gain information on these two disciples who had a run-in with Yuko. When we find out that they are out of the sect, we will make plans to deal with them. My Shiba clan is not one people can mess with!” The Shiba Clan Patriarch slammed his can down on the ground. “Get some of the servant girls to attend to Yuko day and night and look into finding an antidote to the drug. Make sure a sound barrier is also placed around her courtyard. We do not need to be hearing her cries.” 

“Father, thank you!” Yuko’s father knelt down and bowed his head. He was thankful that his father was not going to abandon his daughter even if she was crippled.

“You do not need to thank me. We are just doing what we can. She may have lost the ability to cultivate, but we can still find her a decent family to marry into later on.” Of course, he would not care about her well-being when she married over, as he only wanted to use her as a means of gaining benefits for the clan. Yuko’s father also understood this, but at least it would be better than having her killed off. 

“I can gather information at the sect, but I can not touch those two disciples. Elder Nishikawa is not someone to be messed with. Only the sect master is able to contain her.” Yuko’s uncle also could not afford to lose his position. His spot in the clan was relying on it.

“Don’t worry. You will only give us their whereabouts when they leave the sect. I will have some people do the rest.” The Shiba clan patriarch was no fool. He did not want to start a war with the sect itself but wanted to make it so that the two disciples who dared to plot against a member of his clan died without a grave. “We will end this here. Get the maids to try to satisfy Yuko. The drug will kill her if she is not being pleasured.” 

Yuko’s father’s face did not look good. Just knowing his daughter had to be played with by some lowly maids did not sit well with him. But at least it was not a bunch of men. “Put a few female guards around here room as well. We do not want any male servants thinking they can take advantage of her.”

While plans were being made at the Shiba clan, Yuki, Nana, Silvia, and Elder Nishikawa were all sitting around the lake outside Elder Nishikawa’s immortal cave. “Yuki, Nana, you need to be careful. If the Yuko’s clan, the Shiba clan, figure things out, they might try to plot against you. I will not help you with this. This will be your chance to train against more powerful figures. Silvia will help you if you can not handle the situation. But only if you seem like you are going to die.” 

“That’s fine. Nana and I need more training no matter what, so this works out perfectly.” Yuki nodded. She also felt that this was good. 

“Good to hear that you are willing to take on life and death experiences.” Elder Nishikawa felt this was good. While Silvia was there as a lifeline, Nana and Yuki could still face the difficulties they would naturally need to run into in order to progress not only in cultivation but combat ability as well. 

With a smile, Elder Nishikawa stood up and clapped her hands. “Okay, it is now late. You all have many things you need to start doing tomorrow. Yuki, Nana, start your cultivation tonight. Silvia, you should take this time to up your cultivation as much as possible as well. Tomorrow, I will give you some resources to help as well.” 

“I thank you for your kindness.” Silvia bowed slightly to Elder Nishikawa. She realized she had to go back to the same immortal cave as these two! She would need to put up a sound barrier array around her new room.

When the three girls returned to the immortal cave Yuki and Nana pulled Silvia to take a seat in the main room. “So Silvia, we will all be living together from now on, so let’s make a rule that says what happens in the immortal cave stays in the immortal cave. What do you think?”

“I am fine with whatever you decided, Young Miss.” Silvia would always follow her master’s orders. Since these two were now her masters, she would follow their orders no matter what they were.

Yuki frowned as she looked at Silvia’s absolute obedience. “Silvia, you can just call me Yuki and her Nana. I do not see you as my maid or my servant of any kind. I hope we can become friends.”

“Yuki is right. Silvia, just think of us as friends and nothing more. You can have your own free will when you are around us. Speak your mind. We will not look down on you as long as you are not trying to harm us.” Nana also felt uncomfortable being called Young Miss or anything along those lines.

“If that is what you both want then I will not speak so formally anymore.” Siliva still took the two’s words as orders.
