Legend Of Yuki: The Wrath Of The Tailed Asura
Too Much Pride Will Get You In Trouble
It took two days for the plenaries to finish. But there were still way too many people to hold a proper tournament. This meant the numbers needed to be reduced even more.
Currently, Yuki and her group, along with over a thousand cultivators, were all in the arena, staring at the old man in the air. “You all did very well. Next, you will all enter the mystic realm. This mystic realm and climb to its peak. This is not a race. You will also need to stop and try to comprehend ancient texts written on stone tablets left behind by our very ancestors. You will be judged based on your comprehension ability.
“You will each carry a token that will be able to tell if you have reached the first level of comprehension. Do take note that the more you understand, the better your score. You can sit and try to comprehend one tablet until you have complete comprehension, or you can comprehend multiple tablets to level one. But just know the more you understand, the better the benefits.
“You will only have one week to reach the top. So make sure you are able to reach there before the time is up. If you are struggling with one tablet, I suggest you move to the next. Inside the mystic realm, killing is prohibited. Those that break this rule will be crippled, stuffed with demonic beast fragrance, and dropped off in a forest with broken legs. I feel a few rounds with a true monster will teach you the meaning of listening to my words.” The old man’s threat was cruel. It was something even the most sinister of people would not want to do. The demonic beast fragrance was a kind of powder that would put them in heat. They will do anything that has a hole, and if you are covered with it, it will draw in many demonic beasts. It did not even matter if you were dead or not. They would keep going until the fragrance was gone.
“Now, finally, only those in the top one hundred will go on to the tournament. I wish you all luck. Please line up and take a token.” The old man pointed to the side where many young disciples from the Holyland were standing with boxes of tokens. They had proud looks on their faces, and when they looked at the cultivators of this kingdom, their disdain could be seen in their eyes.
Yuki, Nana, and Silvia lined up. In front of them were the girls from the Purple Lotus sect. Riku turned and gave Yuki a nod, who nodded back at her. This time, the tournament was different from the previous ones. They had never entered a mystic realm before. It had always been all out battles.
Slowly but surely, the young cultivators were entering the mystic realm. Yuki and her group quickly reached the box with the tokens, where a young man with a lazy smile stood. He looked at Yuki and snorted. “Don’t think you are good just because the people of this kingdom are afraid of you.”
“Oh? A small penis says what?” Yuki asked in confusion while tilting her head.
“What?” The young man reflexively responded.
“Pfft!” Nana covered her mouth and tried to hold back her laughter. The were many giggles coming from behind Yuki. It took the young man a minute to understand why they were laughing.
“You!” The young man’s face turned bright red. His anger and embarrassment overwhelmed him as he drew his sword. He had never lost so much face before! “I will kill you!”
But before he could even lift the sword in the air to strike at Yuki, an overwhelming pressure weighed down on him. “What do you think you are doing!? Is this how a member of the Dragon Sect of the Holyland acts!?”
“Elder Li….” The young man gritted his teeth. “She said something to offend me just now.”
“Oh, what did she say?” The old man asked, narrowing his eyes. This caused the young man to shiver.
“I said….” Yuki cut in. “A small Penis says what?”
“What?” The elder had only just spoken these words before his face turned bright red. He was embarrassed for falling for such a cheap trick, but at the same time, he found it highly amusing. “Hahahaha!” He burst out laughing.
This elder was the same elder who had overseen Yuki’s arena. He looked at Yuki with a smile on his lips and nodded his head. “Little girl, you are very amusing.”
“And you got a good personality for an old man,” Yuki replied with a nod.
“Haha!” The old man let out another laugh before looking at the young man from the Dragon Sect. “You got fooled and got angry? It seems you need time to clear your head. When you return, you will go to the back mountain to cultivate for a year. Let’s hope you do not die in the process.”
The young man began to panic as he fell to his knees and lowered his head. “Elder Li! No! I know my wrong. I will never do it again. Please do not send me to the back mountain!” He did not want to go! He would surely die!
“Two years. Don’t beg like a mortal. Cultivators take their punishments without shame. And walk proudly. If you do not wish to die there, then work hard and become better than you are now. And just so you know…..” The old man glanced at Yuki. “That girl can cut your head off before you even knew you were dead.”
