Feel A Single Girl’s Pain

The next morning Kane woke up to the alarm with Stacey staring at him with her big eyes. “You’re finally awake.”

“Mm…. What time is it?” Kane asked. He knew Stacey had to be at school soon. However, his head hurt a little from not sleeping enough.

“It’s still 6am. ” Stacey replied. She slowly moved away from Kane and let the covers fall off her body. This resulted in Kane getting a full view of Stacey’s waist down. 

“You know I can see your panties, right?” Kane asked with a long sigh.

“Mm….” Stacey nodded her head acting like it was no big deal. “We just slept in the same bed all night. If I were shy about my panties, I would not have been able to cuddle with you all night.” 

Kane thought about it and figured this was actually true. He scratched his head and took in the sight of the girl next to him. She was like a doll. Her blonde hair was slightly in disarray, and her cute face was blushing red. He was having a hard time controlling the bottom half of his body. Kane leaned over and pulled Stacey into his embrace as he said: “I guess you are right.” 

“Hey!” Stacey pushed against him. She could tease, but he was not allowed to tease her! Although she resisted slightly, her lips were curled up into a smile. She leaned against his chest and whispered: “I need to shower and get ready….”

“Mmm…” Kane sighed. He wanted to make Stacey his officially, but when this thought came to mind, he was a little nervous. They had been doing fine as they were. He did not want to ruin the current feelings they had. He took a deep breath and slowly let it out as he let her go. He would wait until the right moment. 

Stacey did not get up. She was gritting her teeth. She thought Kane would finally give in to his urges and kiss her! She could only sigh as she got up. She stood right up, not caring if she was exposed or not. She only fixed her shirt when she got to the door. She hoped this sight would burn deep into his eyes and make him smarten up! 

When she left, Kane held his head. “I know…” He whispered to himself. “I am not blind….” He knew Stacey’s feelings. “I should take some of the money from my next pay and take her out…..” He decided. He would take her out to dinner and then out for a stroll. He would find the right moment to ask her out and makes things official.

Kane dropped Stacey off at school before heading home to work on his song a bit more before work. While he was doing that, Stacey was in a pouty mood. “What is wrong with my princess?” Jackie sat down in front of her and asked.

“Stupid Kane!” Stacey replied.

“Oh? What did your prince charming do to you?” Jackie could only sigh. She had a hunch about what Stacey would say next, but she wanted to hear it from her.

“Nothing! That is the problem! Jackie, do you understand how much courage I had to muster up to wear his shirt and even jump in bed with him? But even after I was partially lying on top of him, he did nothing! Jackie, am I not good-looking? No, that can’t be right. I am sure his….” Stacey’s mouth was quickly covered.

“Slow down, girl!” Jackie felt exasperated. She turned and glared at everyone around her. They were all staring at Stacey. “What the fuck are you looking at?” Jackie was known as the ‘wild’ girl. She did not hesitate to throw punches, especially when it came to Stacey. So one glare and a few words made everyone quickly look away.

“Let’s talk about this on break. This is not a conversation for class.” Jackie knew there was a time and place for all conversations. When she saw Stacey obediently nod, she finally removed her hand from Stacey’s mouth.

When class change rolled around, Stacey and Jackie went to the girl’s bathroom on the third floor, where teachers and students rarely went. “So tell me, what is the problem? You slept with Kane last night? And you are mad because he didn’t lay a hand on you?”

“Mmm… I mean, I couldn’t be any more forward. The only thing I did not do was kiss him! I was cuddled up right on him and even moved to lay half on top of him. But he…. And this morning, he got to see my panties which made him hug me to his chest, but he still….” Stacey pouted. She did not want to go all the way just yet, but lately, she realized she felt very insecure about what was going on between them.

“I see… well, for one thing, Stacey, you are indeed bold. We will discuss why you slept at his house last night after I say this. You and Kane had basically been tied at the hip since you two got together. You are already acting as boyfriend and girlfriend. I have seen the way you glare at girls who dare to approach Kane, and he does not mind your jealousy. He falls to your whims all the time and seems to genuinely want to make you happy. While it has not been said, you two are already together.” Jackie laid it out for her. “I think Kane is the kind of guy that when he is serious about a girl, he is very cautious. He is probably worried that maybe things will change between the two of you if things are made clear.”

Stacey sighed and nodded. “I can understand that. I also feel nervous, but…. Jackie, I have never felt like this for anyone before. I am worried.” This was her first love. She was anxious and scared at the same time.

“I do not think you have to worry. While I at first thought that Kane was just playing with you. After watching how he interacts with you, I know he is sincere. Just give it time. I am sure he will finally man up and ask you out officially.” Jackie smiled and patted the top of Stacey’s head before slowly reaching over and grabbing her ear. “Now, my dear daughter, why are you hopping into bed with him!”

“Ouch! What the hell? You’re not my mom!” Stacey’s eyes watered up. Her ear hurt!

Once Stacey freed herself, she explained things. She did not hide anything and even said that it was she who forced herself into his bed. Jackie could only shake her head at her friend, who looked like a small rabbit but was actually a wolf in disguise who wanted to eat Kane! “Okay, I get it. So you are staying at your husband’s house. Good for you!”

“Hehe!” Stacey giggled only to get knocked on her head. “Ouch! Jackie!”

“I am just letting you feel a single girl’s pain!”
