Recording Part 1

After being chased back to his room, Stacey lay on the bed looking at him. Her eyes were still red from crying. Kane walked over and pulled the girl into his arms, sitting her on his lap, and kissed her lips. “Don’t worry. My grandmother is not one to take no for an answer. So even if your mother does not want to, she will be forced to go to the hospital.”

“Mm….” Stacey nodded her head. She reached up and hugged Kane’s neck and gave him a peck on the lips. “I am lucky you are by my side. If I was alone and this happened…”

“Don’t worry. No matter what happens, I will be there for you,” Kane replied as he rocked Stacey back and forth. He wished he could ease her worries more, but he knew he could only do this much at this time. Without much thought, he started to whisper a song.

Stacey’s eyes welled up with tears as she hugged Kane tighter. She truly fell for the right man. She hugged him tightly and listened to his on-the-spot song. It was a little rough around the edges, but she loved every syllable he sang. 

After a while, Stacey fell asleep. She was sitting in Kane’s lap, hugging him tightly, but now she was sound asleep. Kane gently moved her so he could take her socks off. He then undid the belt on her pants and slipped them off. After he removed the hoodie, Stacey only had on a t-shirt and a pair of pink panties. He tucked her in under the blankets before stopping to stare at her sleeping face. He felt his heart ache for the girl. He could only hope things would be okay.

Kane decided to hold off on setting his stuff up. While he really wanted to get it all done tonight, he decided to just wait until the next morning. Instead, he took a shower and stuck on a pair of boxers before heading to bed. Ever since the two had been being more intimate, he found no reason not to sleep like he used to. As if sensing his warmth, Stacey cuddled right up to him and pulled herself into his arms. 

When the next morning came, Kane woke up first. He gently settled Stacey in with a pillow to hug before climbing out of bed. He put on some pants and walked out into the kitchen, where his grandmother was cooking breakfast. “Kane, you’re up. Help me bring this to your grandpa.”

    “Okay, Grandma.” Kane took the plate that was handed to him and was about to leave the kitchen when his grandmother asked him a question. 

“How is she?” Kane’s grandmother asked.

“She should be fine. She slept the whole night through.” Kane replied. 

“Good. Make sure you take care of her. She only has you to give her the love and care she needs in situations like this. So make sure you treat her well.” Kane’s grandmother knew her grandson would do the right thing, but she still had to make sure he knew what he should be doing in times like these. “I will handle the adult stuff. You handle the husband stuff.”

Kane smiled and nodded. He did not react at all when she said, husband. “I will do what I am supposed to do.” He leaned over and gave his grandmother a kiss on the cheek before heading out into the living room. The old woman smiled and shook her head before going back to cooking.

Kane brought his and Stacey’s breakfast back to his room with a folded-up bed tray under his arm. He planned to let Stacey eat in bed while he ate on the floor next to her. 

When he walked in, he saw Stacey looking around in a daze. She seemed quite confused. “Stacey?”

“Did you undress me last night?” Stacey asked. She was very confused as to how she was only lying in her shirt and panties at this time.

“Yeah, I did not want you to be uncomfortable,” Kane replied as he walked over to the bed and set both dishes down on the nightstand before taking the bed tray out from under his arm and unfolding it. “Sit up so I can put this down.”

Stacey was very obedient. She did as she was told as she watched Kane set things up for her. She did not mind at all that Kane had undressed her. She did wonder if he had snuck a peek or two. Not that she would mind, but she wished she was awake and fake sleeping at the time so she could catch him in the act.

Stacey took a few bites of her food before looking at the top of Kane’s head. He was quietly eating his food while staring at the notebook laid out in front of him. “Are you going to set things up today?”

    “Mmm…. I will call Mama Claire later and ask for the day off for you. I will explain things, so do not think about it.” Kane turned his head upwards to look at Stacey. “You only need to stay home and laze around all day. I will handle the rest.”

Stacey bit her lip. She felt so lucky. She lowered her eyes and scooped up some of the eggs on her plate, and put them in her mouth. After chewing and swallowing, she took a deep breath and said: “Then I will be relying on you.” She did not know how things would go today, so she knew that going to work would not be good for her. Her mind would be in the clouds. She decided she would reward him when things were figured out. 

“Please do.” Kane smiled and went back to eating and reading. 

Stacey looked at Kane and smiled softly. “At least now I can listen to your song.”
