“How long to you plan to keep staring!?” The girl with blue hair that rained down to her waist and silver eyes that seemed to glow yelled out with a face so flushed she could be mistaken for an apple.

“Ah, right, sorry!” Leo was actually quite entranced by the girl’s beauty. It was hard for him to look away. He just stood there calmly as if what had just happened did not happen at all.

“Why are you not leaving!? Get out!” The girl yelled. She took the black shirt he had lying on the bed and tossed it at Leo as if it was going to do anything, only for it to land on top of Leo’s head.

A fruity scent filled Leo’s nose, causing him to blush slightly. He took the shirt off his head and folded it up neatly. “Smells nice…”

“GET OUT!!”

“I would, but this is my room…” Leo turned around and wanted to explain, only to see the red-faced girl in the process of buttoning her skirt. She stood there with no top on, wearing only a pink bra with a matching cat imprint on it.

“You are still looking!?” The girl could not believe this guy. For one he did not look at her lustfully and seemed as calm as can be in such a situation. She wanted him to leave but if what he said was true that meant she was supposed to share a room with a man!

“Haha. Right… Sorry… Just let me know when you are done.” Leo felt awkward as he let out a dry laugh and scratched his head while turning back around. He felt this was one hell of a way to make a first impression. But he was actually confused. Elder Hill said that dorm rooms with a man and woman were very rare, so why did it seem like he pulled the lucky stick? He was not going to complain. He had got to see a beautiful sight, and he did not regret it in the slightest, but he did feel bad since he was sure the girl was embarrassed he could only tell due to her red face.

“I’m done…” The girl finally announced.

Leo turned around to see the girl standing there with her arms crossed across her chest with quite the evil eye that was piercing daggers into Leo on her face. “You said this is your room?”

“That’s right. Elder Hill explained that while rare, there are time when the opposite sex will end up sharing a room. I do apologize for barging in on you changing and being too captivated by your beauty to look away, but it is true that it is my room.” Leo did his best to explain things while also praising the girl. His father always told him it was best to be honest and praise girls for their looks.

“Beauty…” The girl was slightly taken aback, not expecting to be praised, but that was not the issue here. “How can you spit out such nonsense!?”

“My father always told me to be honest…”

The girl gritted her teeth. She really did not know what to say to this boy. She could only stomp in frustration and say: “We need to go to registration and find out why we have the same room. I of all people should not be sharing a room with a man!”

“Umm… Alright…” Leo saw no other option. It was regretful. He did not mind sharing a room with this girl. He knew better than to try anything anyway. Just now was an accident.

The girl snorted and walked up to Leo and held out her hand which caused Leo to be confused. “Yes?”

“My shirt. How long do you plan to hold on to it?” The girl's eyes were filled with anger. It could be seen that she was doing her best to stay calm. She hated how Leo was not flustered in the slightest. She felt like she was the only one overreacting. ‘Is he really not phased by any of this?’

“Right, here you go.” Leo handed the folded shirt over to the girl, who took it and tossed it on the bed before walking to the door. “Let’s go!”

As they walked out of the room, the girl taking the lead and Leo following behind her as if he were a prisoner, Liana was giggling away in Leo’s mind. ‘Is it really that amusing?’

‘Yep! Your reactions were so off that the girl looks a little upset that you are not as flustered as she is. She is cute though. I give her a pass.’

‘She is cute but I think she is probably a noble. She might not speak like a normal noble but she has an air around her. So I am probably not on her radar.’

‘You think to lowly of yourself my Master. No one in this world is beyond your reach. I promise you this.’

‘We will see when I am strong enough not to care about status.’ Status had a lot of meaning in this world, sadly. Leo knew this well. This was why he would never dream of getting a girl like the one in front of him if she was a noble.

Fifteen minutes later…

“What do you mean!?”

“Princess Isabella, there is nothing I can do. You have to understand that status means nothing in the Academy. The Academy rules are quite literally set in stone, there is nothing I can do. I wish I could help, but there is an odd number of female and male freshman this year so you are stuck sharing the same dorm. Maybe next year you can change but for now the dorms are full. You will both need to share the room.”
