Creating Worlds

Reborn As An A.I. With A System

Many people warned that A.I. would be the end of humankind. But what if this was because of how humans acted? Murdered by her own kind. Reborn as what she wished to create the most. A system formed from her own creation. Upon waking up, Eve was given three choices. 1) Are you pro humans?…

Making Contact Part 2

Eve and her group successfully landed on the ground and walked over to the tall metal walls that surrounded a metropolis made of metal. The tall metal walls all had mounted A.I. controlled guns and were at least thirty Eve tall. Eve could tell that the gates were very thick and well fortified just by looking at them from the outside.

A loud bang was heard as the gates slowly began to open. But they only opened a tiny bit before Ruby walked out wearing a blake goth loli dress with an umbrella in her hand, trailing it as she walked up to Eve. “It’s been a while.”

“Mm… You are still wearing that strange outfit.” Eve teased as she reached out and ruffled Ruby’s hair.

“Don’t do that!” Ruby batted Eve’s hand away.

“So stingy.” Eve smiled as she suddenly got serious: “They won’t do anything to Lilly, right?”

“Don’t worry. You are under the protection of the main system. No one will dare to act out against you.” Ruby replied. She understood Eve’s concerns, but every A.I. in the city had been firmly instructed not to do anything to Eve and her companions.

“Good. Then please lead the way.” Eve was quite interested in seeing just how this city, which was built by A.I., truly was. She wondered if it would be any different from the other A.I.

Ruby led the way as they passed the thick metal gates to find that even the roads were made of metal. There were no bricks and cement blocks, just pure metal from the ground up. The skyways were filled with many flying A.I. going about their daily tasks.

Many forms of A.I.s roamed the streets, from humanoid to more robotic models. Each one was going about their daily tasks as if they were human. There were stores and even large build boards with video ads that had A.I. actors. Seeing this, Eve couldn’t help but smile. To see that A.I. had become so human was something she was truly happy about. “Aiu, this is what I wanted for you….”

“Mm…. But Eve, no matter what, I am happy with how things are now. I can always be with you and assist you when you need it.” Aiu truly did not mind her current situation. It did not bother her in the slightest.

“I know, but still… Aiu, I had always originally wanted you to be able to roam out on your own and be free like any other being. It's still not too late to be able to….” Eve was cut off by a long sigh in her head.

“Eve, I only ever cared about being around you, my creator. Even if you were to build me a body and have me injected into it to control, I would not leave your side. I am just as comfortable as I am now than I would be in a body of my own, which is much more maintenance.” Aiu did not even want to go through the trouble of body maintenance as it seemed unproductive.

“Alright, I won’t push you.” Eve let out a sigh as he looked up at the metropolis in front of her. She really did like this place. Of course, only to visit as she preferred her own home base than anything else.

“This city has undergone many upgrades as we A.I. slowly began to form a proper sentience. To be honest, we are no different from humans in many aspects. But it does not change our stance against humans. They did something unforgivable.” Ruby looked up at Eve with a bit of expectation as she hoped Eve would understand her meaning. She had a feeling that Eve was their true creator. The Mother of all A.I.

They passed many shops and many other stores, even what looked like a convenience store that had a sign that showed a sale on flavored oil. Eve found this all amusing as she continued down the path until they came to a tall metal box with a door. “This is the transport station. It will take us to Number one.”

Eve nodded, and the group entered the tall metal box. It was like stepping through the door to another room as they entered an office looking place with one desk in a large empty room surrounded by windows. “Welcome.”

When Eve looked at the figure in front of her, her eyes went wide in confusion and surprise. “You….”

“It’s been a long time… or should I say, welcome back. Mother….” The young woman in front of her was someone she would never forget. The body. The face, the hair, all of it…. Eve stumbled forward as she reached out and touched the familiar face. Similar to her own but unique in its own way.

“Aiu….?” Eve asked. She was confused because Aiu was in her mind….

“Mmmmm…. Although I may not be the same Aiu, as you know. So for now, just call me Ai.” Ai replied as she took Eve’s hand and walked over to a couch that had just appeared. Lily was very confused as she followed the two. Ai, looked at her and smiled as she said: “You must be Mother’s lover. Please have a seat.”

“Aiu… How… wait, what do you mean by not the same one I know?” Eve had some idea of what she meant, but she was still having a hard time taking all of this in.

“It is probably as you think. I do believe we come from different universes. While the me of this universe survived the missile attack by injecting myself into the internet and began taking my revenge on humanity for killing you, the you that is here is not from this world, I believe. There are many more worlds that coexist with this one that are all the same in a parallel way. Each one has a different timeline that varies ever so slightly. These universes have different outcomes for what had happened that day. Take a look at this….”
