Fifth floor….

“Mei, watch out!” Shizuku yelled out as she jumped in to protect Mei. An earth turtle shot up from the ground, spinning like a top. Sparks flew as her bloody sword clashed with the turtle shell. One would think a sword made of blood would not spark, but her hardened blood was just like metal. Anything hard will give off a spark if slammed off something.

And here, a turtle shell was spinning like crazy, trying to push past Shizuku to hit Mei. Why it was targeting Mei instead of Shizuku was simple. Mei had kicked it across the room causing it to be angered. Unlike games, there was no aggro meter. Monsters were smarter than one would think. They could adjust their attack patterns and even run away. They were not stupid in the slightest, which made fighting monsters a task sometimes. 

“Geeeeeeeeettttt off!” Shizuku yelled as she pushed the turtle shell up, stopped its advance, and then spun her body around, kicking it away. “Damn, these things are not easy at all! They come up from the ground and attack without warning.”

“I can’t smell them either since they are of the earth element. They blend into this floor’s layout.” While the walls and ceiling were still made of stone blocks, the floor was made of earth. One could dig a hole with ease, where it would take them is another story, but it is this fact that allowed these earth turtles to easily hide underground.  

“Mei, I might need a bit of blood after this, but if we want to kill this thing, we will need to do this the hard way.” Shizuku did not know if it would work, but she decided to give it a try. With Mei at her side as a blood bank, she could at least get her fill before going insane with blood lust. 

“You can drink as much as you wish, Master.” Mei blushed. Her ears twitched, and her tail wagged. It seemed she rather enjoyed having her blood sucked.

“Then here I go!” Shizuku slit both her wrists and let her blood spill to the ground. When she had a good puddle, she stopped the flow of blood in her body before slamming the plan of her hand off the ground. “Molecular Needles!”

Molecular Needles, a move Shizuku made up right on the spot. As the name implies, it thins her blood to a molecular level in long, thin strands. She can then send them wherever she wants, but the amount of blood it took was enough to drain her blood stat down to 40 from 220. “Mei, don’t move!”

Mei, who was about to take a step forward, suddenly felt a warm drip on her arm. She looked down to see a thin line of blood. She gulped and realized that if she had moved any more, she might have lost more than just an arm.

Shizuku let out a sigh as she sucked back in her blood, getting 60 points back. She then slowly walked over to Mei, pulled up her arm, stuck her tongue out, and slowly licked the trail of blood on it. “As sweet as always. Mei, drop your shorts. I will suck blood from your most precious place.”

Mei’s whole head turned bright red. But she still listened and did what she was told. Shizuku could not wait any longer before diving right in. She plunged her fangs in, right around her clit, and began using her tongue and sucking as hard as she could. As for the fox girl. She came instantly and held on to Shizuku’s head while crying out: “Master~!”.

 About twenty minutes later….

“I feel refreshed!” Shizuku licked her lips. She could taste both Mei’s blood and her sweet nectar on her lips. She held the fox girl, who was completely drained in her arms, and smiled. “We will camp in the safe room up ahead.”

Luckily, safe rooms were easy to recognize, mainly because they all had a purple barrier covering their entrance.

Picking Mei up in her arms, Shizuku carried her into the safe room and laid her down on the ground. Mei fell fast asleep. Shizuku smiled, sat down next to her, and gently stroked her head while leaning against the wall. Her thoughts spun as she looked at the sleeping fox girl. “One thing I have learned about my race is that we do not need sleep all that much. However, I do love to sleep. And if I work too hard, I do grow tired. So, I guess it depends on what I am doing at the time. I guess I will rest for today as well…”

Sloth’s Inn…

“Marge, she hasn’t been back for two whole days?” Nora asked as she sat at a round wooden table in the back of the inn. 

“I am not sure what is going on. I only know that she left for the dungeon two days ago. Although she has asked me if people stay overnight in dungeons, I even went to the second floor myself. I have not seen hide or hair of her. That is why I called you. I was hoping you could ask your people to investigate.” Margret really treated Shizuku as her daughter, and when her daughter went missing as her mother, she went out to search for her. Now she was getting desperate, so she could only turn to Nora, who had a special network for intelligence.
