“You can just tell her it is a special system function unique to you and is also something you do not fully understand. By saying this, you are not lying to her because we don't understand the Astral System. But we do know some of its functions. So just explain what you can for the time being if you wish to go into detail.” Aiu had no issue with Eve telling Lilly anything since they would be together and things like this would keep happening. So in order to not have any mistrust, it was best to explain things as best as she could.

Eve looked into Lilly's expectant eyes and sighed. “I have a kind of program or system, whatever you want to call it. I am not sure if I am the only one who has it or other A.I. have it as well. All I know is that without it, I would not be able to attach this head and a few other parts of my body very easily. To be honest, I was a bit scared of downloading my anything into the new head. The system allows me to write programs and do diagnostics and other things as well. There is also the inventory section which allows me to store items.”

“So…. Cool! Eve, I’m very jealous! I wish I had such a thing. I have read a few old books that I have found that were somewhat preserved, and I  read a few system things in there. Sadly it seemed the story was not complete, or it would have been a good read.” Lilly pursed her lips at the end. Eve could tell Lilly seemed to like the story she had read a lot. “But Eve, this makes things much easier for you since now you can attach parts that would otherwise be hard to attach.”  

“Mmm… I was glad it worked so well. Now that it is done, I can at least feel more together. My next job is to do my arms, then my torso and waist. It will take a lot of time, but we have the parts needed already. So I will be counting on you from now on, Lilly.” Eve couldn’t wait to get everything done and be able to truly walk around and check out this city. She wanted to see what the city of an apocalyptic future is truly like. She has yet to actually see any of it except the gap under the door when Lilly came and went when she first arrived. 

“Well, this deserves a drink! Although, I guess you can not drink or eat anything, huh? But that is okay! I can drink your share!” Lilly ran to the fridge and pulled out a beer, and cracked it open. She then proceeded to take a big swig. “Urp… That hit the spot.” 

“That was very ladylike, Lilly.” Eve chuckled and sat down in a chair. Lilly pulled her chair up and sat cross legged in it, facing Eve.

“Who cares if I am ladylike? It’s not like anyone will love me anyway. I am not someone people can love. I love A.I. and could care less about other humans besides the landlady and the old man who loans me his truck. Everyone else can rot in hell.” It seemed after chugging half a beer, Lilly was already feeling it. “I mean, what is so bad about A.I.? Look at Tezz and you, you are both amazing. Tezz is cute and lovable. And you are now beautiful and very loveable. Hehe.”

Eve smiled. She had never really interacted with others like this before, so this was all new to her. But she did not hate it. She found Lilly to be very cute. “Then what about that guy at the gate? What was his name, Todd?” So cute that she couldn’t help but tease her a bit.

“Humph! That dirty, disgusting man. Who wants a man anyways? All they have is a dick and nothing else. What good is it for? I got a finger that can do the same exact thing! Hiccup!” Lilly's brow furrowed just thinking about it. She then looked at Eve and smiled sweetly. 

“I can’t say if a man or a woman is better. But if you want to have babies, you would need a man, no?” Eve asked. She never cared for romance herself as she only cared about creating Aiu, but even before then, during high school, she never really thought about it much. She only saw men as a way of producing offspring.

“No… No longer needed. With the current technology we have, we can just use the DNA from a man or a woman and put it into an artificial egg and implant it into a woman or a man. Although a man needs some extra done. The egg can even be incubated outside the body. The human race has many means. How else do you think we have had enough fighters all these years? In the past, they had every woman who had already had their period impregnated using this method. Girls of all ages were forced to give birth whether they liked it or not. They even produced thousands of test tube babies as well. After that, though, it was deemed a crime against humanity to force females to carry babies, and the practice was stopped. Many of the front liners are now test tube babies,”  Lilly explained. “So if I were to have a baby… It would be based off of my DNA and a donor of some kind. But I do not plan for such a thing. Anyway, no way will a man get near me, nor will I let anyone close. Not when I got you and Tezz to prote..…” 

Lilly’s voice began to trail off. While she was talking, she kept drinking, and it seemed that she was not able to hold her alcohol. Eve smiled and picked Lilly up, and carried her to bed. But once again, she was caught as she tried to walk away. Eve helplessly sighed and laid down on the bed with Lilly, who did her best to get comfortable. Her eyes slightly opened as she looked at Eve with a foolish smile before leaning up and placing her lips on Eve’s. “Good night!”

 Eve’s eyes shot wide open. Her first kiss was just taken by a drunk girl!
