“To think you were this powerful!” The undead knight yelled. “To hell with the other waves! We will go to the grand finale!” 

The undead knight slowly began to descend from the sky. Both Lexy and Megalim looked up at the mighty undead knight and felt something was off. Lexy couldn’t help but ask: “Is it just me, or is he really small?”

Yes, it was just as Lexy said. The undead knight did indeed get smaller. While he was flying in the air, he seemed very high in the sky, but as he came down, that was only an illusion. In truth, he had actually shrunk. But that was because he had unleashed too much power too quickly. Summoning so many undead at once in a short time caused his death energy to quickly disappear with any way of recovering it. This was especially so because Lexy and Megalim had used fire based attacks to kill most of the zombies. This caused the death energy he would have regained to burn up along with it. It was one of the mechanics that not many knew about when facing this questline.

Lexy looked at the undead knight’s name and saw that it was no longer red but green, and a sly smile formed on her lips. She leaned over and whispered into Megalim’s ear, causing Megalim to laugh. Because it had lost so much death energy, its level also dropped and was now the same as theirs. Even if its health was a bit higher and had higher damage output, both Lexy and Megalim could easily kill him at any time. But…. Lexy wanted revenge! He forced her to smell so many stinky things! She would definitely get revenge!

“Now fear me for I will show you what true terror is…. Umm… What are you doing!? Why are you suddenly a million times bigger than me!? Wait, what is with that strange look on your faces!? We can talk about this! Ahhhh! Not the face!” The undead knight only realized his size when he saw the two girls walking towards him. He knew immediately something was wrong, and that was when he felt that his power was not what it was before. 

Lexy and Megalim both cracked their knuckles and began punching the now short undead knight in the face. They punched and kicked the undead knight until it was almost dead before pouring a potion down its throat, healing it, and beating it up again. “Nya! Take this and take that! Nya! Nya! How dare you make me smell so many stinky things! Nyaaaa!!!”

Off to the side, a person could be seen rolling around on the ground, their face beat red from laughing. “Hahahahahaha! Lexy, my dear little sister! You are just too much! Hahaha! She healed him again! Hahaha!”

Staple was also laughing but not as over the top as Olivia, who was slamming her fists and feet off the ground as she rolled onto her back and stomach over and over again. They could both sense Lexy and Megalim’s grievances being released all at once as they beat the poor undead knight into a mash of bones. But even so, the scene was just too comical not to laugh.

Screams and wails could be heard rolling through the forest. Any players getting close to Holland were quickly scared away. A new notice showed up on the forums in the real world. The title of the thread was: ‘Holland Town is a true place of torture. Sounds of players screaming begging for mercy could be heard.’

On this day, Holland Town became a place for only those whose curiosity was high enough to not care if they got tortured or not to venture to. No one knew that it was not a player who was screaming but an NPC who was being beaten by a certain crazy cat girl and a certain crazy mage. If people knew of this, the two girls would definitely get a new nickname like the crazy duo or something along those lines.

Finally, after almost two hours of punching, cubes of light floated up into the air, and a message flashed in front of their eyes.

[Something happened to the undead knight! The Skull Flower seemed to have possessed him, causing him to go on a rampage, summoning legions of zombies to attack the town!]

“Ehh…” Lexy looked at the question completion reward and frowned. “This… What does it mean the creation of dolls?”

“I’m not sure…” Megalim was also puzzled. They both got the same reward, and the experience was very little. A marionette flower was something neither of them had seen before. It was also a mythical item which meant it was not something one could gain easily. 

Lexy opened her menu and looked at the crafting window. Sure enough, a new section was there for creating a doll. “It says here that we need to use our own energy to create a doll. Requirements…. 500,000 Mana!?” Lexy pursed her lips and closed her inventory. There was no point even thinking about trying to build one. She was also missing many ingredients anyway.

“Maybe when we reach a much higher level, we can have that much mana.” Megalim was also a little disappointed. Although they both received a mythical item, they did not get anything they could use at this time. 
 
“We will just need to work hard then.” Lexy looked at the positive side of things. At least, this was a way of giving her a new goal to work towards.

“Heroes!” A shouted from behind the two. Both Lexy and Megalim turned around and looked at the crowd of people in shock. 

Blue skies now floated overhead, and all those who were once undead were now alive and breathing! Lexy had not noticed any of these details until just now. Even though the town was still in ruins, the people seemed to be alive and well! None of the people in front of her looked anywhere close to being dead! “Weren’t you all dead!?”
