Soul Fusion Magas System

Sora had only one reason to live, and that was for his little sister. Taken away by fate, not only once but twice, Sora found himself overwhelmed with sadness and hate. A chance encounter... A new goal to keep him moving forward... New friends and enemies... A world where the strong rule. A place where…

Dual Mage Soul Part 2

“Dreamscape. Not a bad name.” Sora nodded his head in approval. “So I just need to touch it and then enter the dreamscape.”

“Yes, I will be here waiting for you,” Yumi answered. She seemed a little off as she spoke.

Sora thought nothing of it as he did as she said and walked up to the mage soul and touched it with his hand. He only felt a warm sensation on his palm that soon shot up his arm and headed towards the center of his chest. Once the mage soul fully disappeared from his sight, Sora sat down and closed his eyes and drifted off into a half-sleep state, and entered his dreamscape world.

When Sora opened his eyes, he was met with a beautiful sight of Yumi standing in front of him. Although her cheeks seemed to be very flushed. “Yumi, are you okay?”

“There is no time to explain. Sit down and close your eyes.” Yumi replied her breath seemed to be very erratic.

Not wanting to delay things, Sora did as he was told and sat down and closed his eyes. The next thing he knew, he felt a soft body sit on his lap and wrap itself around him. He could feel Yumi’s hot breath on his neck as she hugged him tightly. “Just bear with it. The process of fusing the souls into you is done in this manner. It may seem immoral, but it is the only way.”

At this moment, Sora’s mind was blank. He was trying his hardest not to let a certain part of his body pop to say hi. But all that disappeared when he suddenly felt something wet and soft touch his lips and then a wet object pry his mouth open and slip inside. He knew what was going on, but he was completely unable to comprehend why it was happening. He only felt Yumi’s tongue swirling around his mouth and a warm flow going down his throat.  This was the first time in both his lives that Sora had ever kissed a girl. His arms were sticking straight out, his fingers folding and unfolding, unsure if he should embrace the girl. But eventually, he slowly clasped his arms around the soft body, embracing her while the two kissed.

There was no way of telling how much time had passed as the two held each other and kissed. Sora only felt a warm ball forming in the center of his chest. It was a slow and steady process, but he could feel it fusing with his entire being. He felt as if another kind of substance was flowing throughout his body. Unlike his blood which he could not feel, something different that was not there before.

As the two kissed, Yumi’s breathing slowly began to steady, and after about another thirty minutes, their lips parted. Yumi stared into Sora’s eyes, her cheeks bright red. Sora stared back at her.  It was only when Yumi snapped out of it that she broke her gaze and looked down. “I did not tell you this beforehand. But to fuse a mage soul into your body to take shape as your own mage soul, this was the best fusion process. Otherwise, just holding hands will suffice when absorbing other souls. I apologize for my abrupt ac….”

As Yumi was trying to apologize, Sora leaned and gave her another peck on the lips. “It’s fine. It was a nice experience to be kissed by such a cute girl.”

“Ahh…” Yumi's whole face went red as she quickly got up and turned around. She wanted to kick the stupid boy for being so straightforward! But at the same time, she was secretly happy to be called cute and not hated for what she had done. Doing her best to compose herself, Yumi said: “Quickly check your mage soul. You should be able to manifest it in this dreamscape.”

“Hold on…” Sora adjusted himself as he closed his eyes and put his mind on summoning out the mage soul. His mage slowly emerged from his chest and floated in front of him. It was the shape of a small person, but this small person had something in each of his hands. One was a staff, and another was a sword. As Sora opened his eyes and saw this, he was very confused. “This… Does this mean what I think it means?”

Yumi turned around and looked at the golden-shaped man floating in front of Sora, her eyes opening wide. “This! A dual mage soul! Sora, you got a dual mage soul!”

“Is it rare to have both?” Sora had no idea if having both was good or not, but from Yumi’s excitement, it seems to be the case.

“Yes! You acquired a rare kind of mage soul which allows for smooth progression when learning to be both a battle mage and a caster mage! When combined with the soul fusion magas system, you will end up being a godly existence in the future if you work hard!” Yumi jumped for joy. She never thought Sora would be so lucky. To get a dual mage soul was something she never dreamed of. “Your mana body is also at three stars. This is very good as you can now cast basic magic spells. But now that you have become fully one with the soul fusion lantern, you should be able to cast a few extra spells that one would not be able to cast unless they were an apprentice mage. As you fuse more souls, your mana body should also grow stronger.”

“I see… How do I use this soul fusion magas system thing then?” Sora asked. He was unconcerned about what kind of souls he had to fuse. He only cared about getting stronger.

“You need to, will, the special interface, open. Just think about bringing up a window in front of you. Any kind of window image will do.” Yumi explained.

Sora closed his eyes and did his best to do as Yumi explained, but all he got was a scrunched-up brow and a small headache. “Nothing is happening.”

“Then let’s try this.” Yumi walked forward and pressed her forehead against Sora’s. “I will send an image of the window into your mind and what it feels like to open it. It should allow you to grasp the concept.”

An image of a transparent screen with a strange board with letters on it formed in Sora’s mind. The image became imprinted in his mind, and a strange feeling spread throughout his body.  He slowly opened his eyes to see Yumi standing off to the side, and in front of him was a blue transparent window with a bunch of words and symbols on it and the board he saw earlier. Next to that was a rock-looking object.
