I Got Summoned And Got Cheat Skills Along With A Yuri Slave Harem
Becoming An Adventurer Part 2
At the end of a street stood a large three-story building that was at least three hundred feet wide. How far back it went, Shizuku could not tell, but the large statues of a warrior, archer, and mage standing tall in the middle of a water fountain really made the building hard to miss.
A large engraved wooden sign was hung up over the arched double doors that looked wide enough to let a carriage fit through, read Adventurers Guild. It had two large bay windows that allowed you to see right in, and with the foot traffic going in and out, it was easy to tell that adventuring was a very steady job.
“Well, I guess in a world full of monsters and bandits, this would be the norm,” Shizuku mumbled as she held Mei’s hand and walked towards the door that was propped half open. She walked inside to see a large seating area with tables that seemed more for a restaurant than someplace people would get missions from. There was one wall that was covered in boards, each one marked from F Rank all the way to A Rank. It was quite easy for Shizuku to understand the ranking system. She had read quite a few isekai novels herself.
Along the far wall, the counters for what Shizuku figured was the place she needed to go. She walked over and got in line. Of course, this would not have been the perfect guild experience if some ruffian did not show up to harass her.
“What the hell is this!? A vampire!?” A voice rang out. Shizuku figured this might happen, but when she turned around expecting to see some burly man with a mohawk, she saw a woman with huge breasts standing there, staring at her with hatred in her eyes.
“Sandy, you know the rules of the guild! We do not abide by the terms of the kingdom we are in. The guild’s land is not a place for you to be discriminating.” Another voice rang out. Shizuku turned to see another woman who was behind the counter staring at the big-breasted Sandy with stern eyes.
“Amy, it is also none of your business what I say as long as I am not hurting your guild’s reputation. I am just asking what the hell a vampire is doing in this kingdom in the first place! This is no place for Fallen or a slave.” Sandy replied.
“Oh? No place for a Fallen? No place for a slave? Are you saying that the same goddess you worship states that Vampires are bad? Did you not know that until a few hundred years ago, vampires and you humans used to be on good terms? Don’t give me your self-righteous display of ignorance. Just because you believe in the shit the church is spewing doesn’t mean everyone else does. I have met many people in this city who could care less that I am a vampire. I mean, you make it sound like I went to your house and raped your sister. Or maybe you are just jealous of my beauty. Either way, your stupidity is showing you should try to cover up more.” Shizuku laid into Sandy without a care. She then turned around, took out her letter of recommendation, and placed it on the counter. “Amy, was it? Thanks, and here, this is a letter from the church.”
“Huh?” Sandy looked at the crest on the letter and then at the vampire girl in shock. She did not understand why the church would give a Fallen of all people a letter of recommendation. But even if the vampire had a letter from the church, that did not mean she would stand for the words Shizuku just said. “You! I challenge you to a duel!”
“What!? Sandy! You are a C Rank Adventurer!” Amy cried out. “How can you pick on someone who has yet to even sign up!?”
“If someone is willing to say such words to you, would you let them off, Sword Demon Amy?” Sandy replied with a snort.
“Hmm? Sandy, I think I told you to quit calling me that. And it doesn’t matter what she said since you started it. She was only giving back what you were dishing out. And everything she said was true. If you do not even know this world’s history, then maybe we should send you back to F Rank. For common people not to know such things is normal, but for an adventurer who will need to deal with many different clients, including Fallen, you really are lacking in the brains department.” Amy was smiling, but her eyes were not. Shizuku found her to be quite scary. She made a mental note not to anger Amy.
“You!” Sandy gritted her teeth before glaring at Shizuku and taking her leave. She did not wish to continue arguing with Amy. She would wait and deal with the vampire later on.
“Now that the idiot is gone, is my letter okay?” Shizuku turned to Amy and smiled.
“Hehe… you really have guts. But yes, even without the letter, we would have allowed you to register. But the letter does help a bit since it will determine your ranking. As you are a summoned hero, you will need to start off at F Rank and work your way up. But, Miss, you should be careful. Sandy is one of those people who hold grudges, and for some reason, she has a strong hate for Fallen.”
