“You're clear.” One of the guards at the gate announced, allowing Eve and Lilly to let out a sigh of relief. “But before you go, can you tell us what you ran into?”

Eve, who was just about to walk past the gate, stopped and turned to look at the guard. “Hell….”

She said no more as she kept walking further and further away from the gate. She could not tell them she ran into a destroyer and took it down. She could only answer with this single word. The guards who were left to watch their retreating backs, wondered just what they went through. “Was it raiders?”

“I think bots. Their clothes are still intact. If it was raiders, they wouldn’t have returned. ” 

“That is true. But if it was bots, we should report it and have a team sent out.”

“I will do it now.”

When Eve and Lilly returned home, Lilly let Tezz out and stripped all her clothes off. She felt dirty and really wanted to bathe.  “Eve, come take a bath with me.”

Eve nodded and took off her hoodie and panties. Both girls were covered in dirt, so they helped wash each other off before actually getting into the bath. Because of the bath’s size, Eve had Lilly sit on her lap so they could both fit and enjoy the hot water. For Eve, having a bath after so long actually felt really nice. She leaned back and rested her head against the wall as Lilly played with her fingers.  Eve could tell Lilly was tired. She had been through so much and endured a lot in the past two days.  

Eve hugged Lilly and rested her chin on her shoulder. “We should get out. You need a night of proper sleep. Tonight we can cuddle properly.” 

“Mmm…” Lilly did not argue. Her eyes were already heavy. She struggled to get out of the bath, followed by Eve. Eve even took it upon herself to dry the half asleep girl off. She did not dress her. She only laid her on the bed before drying herself off and then getting on the bed herself. In no time at all, the girl who was half asleep crawled her way onto Eve and nestled her small face into Eve's chest.

“Eve…” Tezz crawled up onto the nightstand. 

“What’s wrong, Tezz?” Eve asked. She could tell Tezz seemed to be bothered by something.

“I’m sorry. I almost got in the way during the fight with the Destroyer….” Tezz lowered her head. She had been thinking about what she did this entire time, and she really felt she needed to apologize.

Eve smiled and reached out with her free hand and picked Tezz up and placed her on top of Lilly’s head before poking her in the stomach. “Don’t be silly. You were trying to save both me and your mother. Do not even think for a second that you did something wrong. I only yelled because I did not wish for you to get hurt. I want you to be just as safe as Lilly. So when we go out, you can look around but stay in Lilly’s pocket, so we do not lose you, okay?”

“Mmm…” Tezz nodded, feeling much better.

“Good, now come up here and snuggle in so you mama can sleep.” Eve said as she picked Tezz up once more and placed her on her shoulder. Tezz did as she was told and laid down on Eve's shoulder, looking at Lilly’s peaceful sleeping face feeling glad that everything turned out well.

“Aiu, what do you think of everything that happened the past two days?” Eve suddenly asked.

“I think we should watch out for that Todd guy most of all. And we should be more careful no matter what. This planet, whether it is our original planet or somewhere else entirely, we should take things one thing at a time. There are too many variables to worry about at this time. So let’s lay low and stay in for a while before leaving the house.” Aiu gave her honest analysis on things.

“Then I will do just that. I do still wish to walk around the city some as I have not yet had a chance to. I noticed walking here today that no one seemed to care about my metal legs or my horns. Which is good.” Eve was glad that not everyone was like Todd.

“It is still better to be safe. It might just be the area we are in.” Replied Aiu.

Eve had a lot to think about that night. She stayed lost in thought until the early morning hours when she felt the girl in her arms stir.

Lilly's eyes flickered as she slowly opened them. She did not say a single word as she got up and rolled out of bed and half stomped her way to the bathroom area. She closed the curtain and began running water. 

Eve didn’t pay their no mind as this was Lilly’s norm. She just laid there with her head propped up against the wall teasing Tezz by poking her soft belly. The two made a kind of a game out of it as Tezz tried to dodge back and forth. When Lilly came out and saw this interaction, she smiled warmly at such a scene. 

Lilly walked back into the bed and climbed up Eve, lying on top of her resting her head on Eve’s chest, slipping her hands behind Eve’s back and letting out a satisfied sigh. She could now feel the warmth of Eve’s body and the same scent coming off of it as her own. She was truly happy. She felt very at peace at this moment. “It’s good to be home.”

“That it is….” Eve replied as she ran her fingers through Lilly’s hair. “I am glad all three of us made it back safe and sound.” 

“Mmm, me too….” Lilly replied softly.

Eve pursed her lips as she felt a sneaky little hand making its way down her stomach. “Lilly, what are you doing?”

“Hehe…”
