Reborn As An A.I. With A System
Only One Hole
Eve sneered, hearing the replicator in front of her. “It’s funny that you think you can actually win against me. As a replicator, you are only able to replicate what you have seen, and unfortunately, my systems are not something you will get to see. So if you were hoping to rub servos with me…. Well, you are nowhere close to being cute enough or female enough for my liking. But I can promise to blast that head off your body.”
“Hah! Let’s just see who is better, shall we?” The replicator’s head tilted sideways as he licked his lips with a crazed look in his eye.
“So this is what happens when you mix technology in with raiders. Ruby, take the General and follow with the plan.” Eve said, passing the General over to Ruby.
“Leave it to me!” Ruby took the General and went to run but paused her steps to look at Eve. “Be careful. Replicators are not to be taken lightly.”
Eve smiled and nodded. “Don’t worry even if the world fell down, this idiot in front of me couldn’t come even close to killing me.”
Ruby ran off with the General in her arms, the replicator didn’t even move to stop her, only keeping his eyes on Eve. “Oh? Not going to chase after your target?”
“No need. I will just kill him when I am done with you. These stupid A.I.s can't even compare to a single replicator that makes up my body. I can easily destroy her any time I wish.” The replicator replied arrogantly.
“Hmmm… then let’s just see how well your body can hold up after being beaten over and over. I am sure if I smash enough of them, you will equally fall to pieces, no?” Eve did not even give the replicator a chance to answer as she pulled a rail gun out of thin air and fired it ten times in succession.
Seeing the metal fragments flying at him made the replicator laugh as he stretched his hand out, extending his fingers into blades that began to spin, acting as a shield. Eve never intended her attack to do anything she was testing to see the reaction time of the replicator. The speed at which the metal fragments ejected from her railgun broke the speed of sound as soon as they were fired off and reached up to speeds of five times the speed of sound.
Aiu was analyzing the reaction speed of the replicator while also trying to formulate a plan for dealing with the unique characteristic of a replicator. “Eve, it seems even though the body does look fully human, it is just as Ruby said and is made up of billions of smaller robots. They seem to be able to transform into anything, so we need to be very careful.”
“Understood,” Eve replied as she pulled out a small pistol. She took aim and, without any hesitation, fired it before the replicator could do anything else. A red beam of light shot forward and pierced the replicator's body leaving a small molten hole.
The replicator looked at the damage to his body and began to laugh. “Good! It wouldn’t be interesting if you couldn't at least do this much! Now it’s my turn!”
The replicator’s fingers began to change. He raised them and, with a sinister smile, said: “Bang!”
What looked like harpoons attached to long chains shot out of the replicator's hand right at Eve. Eve dodged to the right but soon found out things were not as simple as a straight on attack as the harpoons changed course aiming straight for Eve’s head.
“Eve, careful!” Aiu yelled out. She was scared that Eve would get a harpoon through her head!
“It’s fine!” Eve yelled out as she nimbly twisted her body and did a few backflips while at the same time tossing a ball shaped object out towards the replicator.
“Haha!? What is this? Are you trying to play catch!? You need to at least reach me to play catch, you know!” The replicator saw nothing harmful about the small metal ball as he let out a laugh and then laughed harder, then the ball landed a few steps in front of him.
But when he saw the grin on Eve's face, he suddenly felt something was off, but before he could even get out of the way, the ball suddenly sprung open, and a strong force weighed down on his body, slamming him into the ground. This was one of Eve’s gravity orbs!
Eve landed on her feet after doing a few more backflips and reached out and touched one of the harpoons. “Now then, let’s see if I can do this. Store Replicator!”
In a flash of light, the replicator in front of her disappeared. Seeing this, Eve smiled as she opened her inventory. The icon for the body did not show a human body but a mass of purple machines. “Aiu, what do you think? Do you think this tech will be useful if we reprogram it?”
“Hmm… We should study it first and see if we can figure a way to split them apart. The description says it is a bio nanomachine. So it's not completely made of metal, although it does seem to be able to mimic all properties.”
“You’re right. Let's head over to that bastard's apartment and deal with the issue at hand. It seems my mission won’t complete until the seventy two hours are up.” Eve couldn’t wait to finally finish this mission and head home to her little minx. She collected her gravity orb and left the area.
But one thing Eve never expected was that when she got to Todd's apartment, she would see a very disturbing sight. “Uh? Ruby, this is?”
“Ah, you see….” Ruby rubbed her nose as she explained: “ When I arrived, that Todd guy was sitting on his couch naked doing something with the little thing between his legs while watching two humans mate on his tv. So I knocked him out and finished watching the show he was watching when I got this great idea to act out one of the scenes with the General and Todd… And well, there was only one hole, so I stuck the thing in there….”
