The next morning Lilly woke up and snuggled into the two modest mounds in front of her before closing her eyes once more. Eve, who was being taken advantage of by the girl who decided to take refuge inside her hoodie, let out a laugh which seemed to wake the sleeping girl up. Lilly raised her head, causing the hoodie to stretch out a bit, and looked up at Eve. “Morning…”

“Good morning, my little minx. We should begin working on getting this destroyer torn apart before someone tries to snatch it from us.” Eve said while lifting her hoodie up, revealing her naked body that was covered by Lilly. 

“Eve!” Lilly yelled out as she quickly got up and pulled Eve’s hoodie down. “Don’t do that!”

Eve pursed her lips and acted innocent. “I was just helping you out….”

“Just…Noo… Ah… I need to peee!!” Lilly suddenly yelled out. “Quick, Eve, help! I can’t get out of here by myself!”

Eve chuckled and walked over and picked Lilly up into her arms and jumped out of the hole in the top of the destroyer. “Let’s go to the building over there. I will cover you so you can go.”

“Thank you!” Lilly was biting her lower lip. She was truly trying to hold it in!

After her bathroom break, Lilly used some bottled water that was stored in Eve’s inventory to wash then got ready to work. “Eve, will we be able to really dismantle this whole thing?”

“We will only be taking what is useful to us. This destroyer is not really all that useful. The weapon systems and the hardware are, but the rest is not. I do not plan to take much of anything else. We will only use what we can to rebuild the truck from the rest.” Eve explained.

“I see, but the truck looked like it got blasted good. How are we going to deal with that?” Lilly asked. 

“No idea until we inspect the damage. We might get lucky. I mean, all we can do is try, right? Even if all that is left is enough to get us back home, it will do.” Eve replied.  She only wanted to get Lilly back to safety for now. This trip had been more than enough of an adventure as it was.

“Alright then, let’s get to work then….”

Lilly and Eve spent half the morning ripping apart everything they could use. Eve only stored the weapons systems and ammo. She would come back to them later. As for the other things, she kept what she found useful and disposed of things that she could not use but did not want others to have.

After they gathered everything, they could. The two headed over to where their truck was. Eve looked at the wreckage and frowned. “Its no good….”

“What do we do now?” Lilly asked, her voice hiding a hit of worry.

“What else can we do. We will just need to hoof it. We can’t use any of this. With the parts we have, we can easily build a new vehicle, but it will take time. The destroyer had a much more advanced power source that we can use to build an engine much better than a gravity engine.” Eve replied while checking with Aiu that her words were not a lie: “Aiu, you did say you found an engine manual I can buy cheap that is better than a gravity engine, right?”

“Yes, it is a gravity pulse engine, and to be honest, it is way ahead of this era’s technology. You will need to make sure it does not get discovered. But I do suggest going back and taking more of the metal plating from the destroyer since you will be building something from scratch. It is stronger and should resist blasts like this much better than any metal you would get from scrap.” Aiu wished she had known that the truck was destroyed beyond repair, or she would have had Eve rip more metal plating off then.

“Okay, we will head back then.” Eve answered Aiu before telling Lilly: “We need to go back to the destroyer and pull more plating off. We will use it for the new vehicle we make. We will then head back. If it is too late, you can just sleep on my back while I carry you.”  

“Okay…” Lilly really did not want to head back, but she knew this was something they needed, so they had no choice. 

Luckily it only took a few hours to get all the metal they needed to build a new vehicle. Although the destroyer now looked more like a metal skeleton than its original formidable self.

Besides the parts, the only other good thing that came out of the battle with the destroyer was that Eve came out unscathed, although she was covered in dirt. Before they left for home. Lilly forced Eve to wear her panties as Eve was walking around commando. Luckily all her panties were side ties besides her bear panties that she wore on laundry day. Otherwise, with Eve’s legs, she would not have been able to wear them.

With Lilly on her back, Eve made her way back to the city. Both girls had their hair all over the place. Smudges of dirt and oil on their faces. As the day turned to night, Lilly finally saw the first glimpses of the city during the hours of the early morning. As they made their way up to the gate, the gate was already open and running as normal. When the guards saw Eve, they quickly went on guard and began pointing guns at her. “Stop where you are!”

Eve was a few yards from the gate and quickly came to a stop. “Lilly, wake up.”

“Are we there?” Lilly asked while running her eyes. She raised her head and looked at the gate in front of her and the guards who were walking towards them with guns drawn. “Eve, what is going on?”

“Routine, most likely. We did come in on foot after all.” Eve was not worried at all. They would not fire on them until they knew for sure they were not A.I. 

When one of the guards finally got close enough to see who the two people were, his eyes almost popped out of his head. “Lilly!? And Lilly’s girlfriend!? What happened to you two!?” 

Eve let out a sigh of relief as she replied: “It’s a long story. We just walked for a day and night so we would like to rest. Can we get the checks over with, please? We can explain as we walk to the gate.”

“Yes, of course!” The guard then turned around and raised his hand, signaling for everyone to lower their weapons.
