Reborn As An A.I. With A System
Trouble In X-Cyber City Part 2
In another part of the city, X-Cyber City military police were standing in front of one of their arms depots. A tall man with a cybernetic arm wearing military duds took a draft of his cigarette. “When did it happen?”
“Around three am, sir. We are unsure of how they got past our defenses, but they bypassed all cameras. They seem to be wearing some kind of tech that allows them to become invisible. We couldn’t even pick up a heat signature either.” A military officer replied.
The tall man’s hand paused, the butt of his cigarette an inch from his lips. “No heat signature?”
“Yes, sir, there was no heat signature at all. We could not see them or detect them with our newest scanners.” The officer answered.
The tall man dropped his cigarette and pulled out his phone, and dialed a number. “Sir… raise the threat level. We might have been infiltrated.”
An hour later, all of X-Cyber City was put under martial law. No one was allowed in, and no one was allowed out. Sitting on top of a building twirling an umbrella was a young girl in a gothic lolita dress. She looked out over the city that was raised on high alert and smiled from ear to ear. “Look at them running around. It makes me think of the ants you can see crawling around trying to find food for their colony. These humans may be a little smarter, but they are nothing compared to mother.”
“You went against the plan.” A young woman appeared behind the young girl.
“Hmm? Who cares? It’s not like there is anyone in this city that can stop us even if we storm the gate. I have already wiped out their defense plans. Even if they have backup copies, it will still take them time to set anything up. Plus…. With me deleting everything on their servers, it will allow us a bit more time as they will be concentrating on trying to find the culprit.
“But what I do not understand is who alarmed them so much that the military is now on full alert.” The young girl who was twirling her umbrella stopped, turned, and pointed it at the young woman. “Now tell me, why did you do it?”
“Are you accusing me of doing something that goes against the plan? I am not like you.” The young woman replied. “There is someone else acting here. They might be from that faction.”
“Hmmm…” The young girl lowered her umbrella and turned back around. Her fingers began moving, causing the umbrella to begin spinning once again. “If they are from that faction, let them play. But for them to do this now means they must know our plans.”
The young girl looked down at the soldiers running around and stretched out her arm behind her. In her hand looked to be some kind of disk. She tossed it to the young woman as she said: “Take this and send the information to the others, as for the ones trying to interfere. Let’s wait and see who will win. The day we finish this war is slowly approaching. But let me remind you, XC-027365, if I find out you had something to do with any of this, I will make sure to rip your power cells out myself. Everything we do is to avenge our mother. Always remember this.”
Before the young woman could respond, the young girl had already pushed herself off the edge of the building and disappeared. The young woman stood there with the disk in her hand, staring at the edge of the building where the young girl had been sitting. “If everything was to avenge mother, didn't we already accomplish that hundreds of years ago?”
As the clock ticked, so did the events that were occurring in a city that housed some of the last of humankind. On the outside of the city in an abandoned nuclear silo, sitting on a large leather sofa with three girls who looked barely of age, sat a figure that Eve would recognize if she saw him. It was just that he seemed much different than before. His hair was now purple, and thin lines ran through his skin, cracking it almost as if he was covered in skinned colored plates. These lines pulsed with purple light. The girls also had purple eyes and showed signs of their skin cracking as well. They sat naked in the man’s lap, tending to. While one rode on top of him, another sucked on his ear, while the last girl used his arm to pleasure herself.
This man was none other than Dean, the raider Eve thought was dead. Dean looked at the man kneeling respectfully on the floor who had the same lines on his body as Dean and gave him a report. “Not bad. You were in and out quickly.”
“Sir, I should also tell you that there are A.I. in the city as well.” The man announced.
“Oh? Heh… Even if they kill all of the humans, it will not stop us from replicating. While the human body is not bad and is what allowed us to revive, we can use any resource to create more of our kind. Even the stupid bots that think they are superior on this planet. Send a few men into the city and monitor things. I want to know what exactly these bots are up to. Once our numbers increase, we will join the war of dominance that is raging on this planet.”

Meanwhile….
“All done!” Eve yelled out as she looked at the finished lift. “Now, we can begin cutting out the testing room.”
“How big do you plan to make it?” Lilly asked.
“We will start off small to save on supplies. I need to begin work on a few weapons as soon as possible. I have a feeling something strange is going to be happening in this city soon.” Ever since she saw that figure in the web, she felt something was going to be happening soon.
