“How does it look?” Eve asked as she moved her arms up and down. It made her feel good to have full functionality of her arms once more. 

“They look very life like.” Lilly held Eve’s arm and traced her finger up and down it. She was completely enthralled with how realistic they looked. 

Eve giggled as she pushed Lilly’s hands away. “You do realize I added full sensation to them, right? Just now, that really tickled me. But… I now know my sensors are working well.” 

Lilly blushed and lowered her head, looking down at her small feet. “Sorry.”

“It’s fine.” Eve smiled and stretched her arms. She only needed to do her torso and waist, and she would be done. But they ran out of chemicals, so she would need to find some more. 

The past few days, Lilly and Eve have gotten a lot closer. Eve still was unsure if she should reciprocate Lilly’s obvious feelings for her or not but for the time being, they were getting along well. Lilly now seemed to be really attached to Eve to the point that Eve had become a nightly body pillow for the girl, which Eve did not mind. She found Lilly to be very cute, and during that time, she talked with Aiu and Tezz. 

Seeing Lilly still lowering her head, Eve sighed and reached out and patted her head. “You do not need to worry so much. I will not get mad about little things like this. Us being close is normal as we are living together and are friends. Do I not let you snuggle up to me every night?”

Lilly blushed even more and nodded her head as she said: “Mmm…” She took a deep breath and looked at Eve with a bright smile. “So next is your torso and waist section?”

“Yeah, but we will need to go out. But to do that, we will need to create a device that changes the heat signature of myself and Tezz. I will also need a big hoodie as well.” Eve looked at the big hoodie on Lilly that only exposed her calves and small white feet. “I am slightly taller, but one of these will do.” 

“You can borrow whatever you wish. Luckily your body is only a few inches taller than mine. Oh, I know!” Lilly ran over to a shelf and pulled out a large black hoodie. She smiled before walking back over to Eve. “Put this on.”

Eve took the hoodie and put it on. It hung down past her waist and exposed just over the knee joint of her legs. “Perfect. How does the chest area look? Is everything below my neck hidden?”

“Let me see.” Lilly leaned in close and began adjusting the hoodie. Her face was close to Eve’s. She lifted her head and looked into Eve’s eyes, and Eve looked into hers. Eve smiled and leaned down and kissed Lilly’s lips. She wanted to try kissing as the last time, it was only a quick peck on the lips.  

Lilly’s eyes opened wide but soon closed as the two’s tongues entwined with each other. She felt like she was dreaming. Her tongue swirled around Eve’s, her arms hooked around Eve’s neck. She was truly enjoying the first real kiss of her life. Eve was no different. She, for the first time, was experiencing her first true kiss as well. Eve held Lilly close to her as the two kissed. 

This kiss lasted a few minutes before they finally parted. Lilly’s cheeks were flushed. Her eyes glazed over. Eve looked at the bashful yet lustful look on Lilly’s face and smiled. “Did you like that?”

Lilly's face turned as red as an apple. She lowered her head and pushed it against Eve’s chest while hugging her waist. “Mmm…”

“Then we can do that more from now on.” Eve leaned down and kissed the top of Lilly’s head. “Come, let’s get to work, or else I will be stuck half finished.”

“Just a little longer…” Lilly did not want to let Eve go just yet. She wanted this moment to last for a little longer. For the first time in her life, she had found someone who she had deep feelings for beyond just familia ties like she had for Tezz and the landlady. To her, Eve had become someone special to her. A.I. or not, she did not care. To her, Eve was Eve. The person she did not wish to be without in her life. She had no idea if her feelings were surging because it was her first time feeling this way or not, but she did not care either. She wanted to cherish every moment of it.

Eve wondered how she was truly feeling. She found Lilly to be very cute and did not mind the kiss just now at all. In truth she really enjoyed it. This feeling that was blooming she actually really liked and wanted it to slowly bloom. 

A few minutes later….

“So we will need to make a program based on the programming for the heat detection system the gate uses. I have already downloaded the code from their systems, but to be honest, this code is just junk…” Eve scratched her head in aggravation. She hated looking at this simplistic code that was all bunched together, making it a mess.

“The system needed to be created in a way that anyone could fix it. While coding is something everyone basically knows from a young age now, everyone has their own method of coding, so they went with this method to make it easier to read. But this is… This is far worse than I imagined it to be. Are you sure this is the proper code?” Lilly asked. Just looking at the mess made her head hurt. 

While Eve and Lilly were in work mode, Aiu was shaking her imaginary head. She couldn’t believe how just minutes ago the two were playing tongue twister, but now they were acting as if the kiss just now never happened. But at the same time, Aiu was happy for Eve. She could tell Eve and Lilly worked well together. So well that it seemed they were made for each other.

As for Tezz, she was really happy that Eve was returning Lilly’s feelings, making her creator and mother happy. She sat at the side, watching the two as they worked with happy thoughts.
